【教材分析】
本课是陕旅版五年级下册第五单元的第一个课时PartA 的Let’s learn词汇教学部分,通过呈现与本单元话题 “天气”的词语,指导学生有效地学习和掌握。笔者在设计教案时按照自己对课文的理解,围绕课文的主题,设计了三个教学步骤,在教学过程中辅以多媒体网路课件。旨在通过这些教学活动,扩充有关天气的词语以及他们之间名词和形容词的转换,提高学生对天气用语的语用能力,与实际相联系,最终达到应用与理解。
【学情分析】
五年级学生对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣。他们活泼、好动好奇心强、模仿和记忆能力强,希望得到同学的认可和赞扬。五年级学生在四年级时已经学过有关天气的单词,本单元第一课时是在以前学习的基础上学习有关天气的形容词,因此教学难度不高。

T: How do you feel? Do you feel warm?
Ss: Yes, we do.
T: Look out of the window! Can you see the sun? It’s a fine day. It’s sunnytoday. / It’s raining. It’s a rainy day.

i Part A Let’s learn
1. Teaching new words :rainy, snowy, windy和cloudy
(1 )Show the new words:
T: Look out of the window, boys and girls. What can you see? Ss: It’s raining.
T: Yes. It’s raining. It’s a rainy day.(注音强调raining / rainy的发音)
(2) Show the picture of rain
T: Look at the picture. What can you see?
Ss: It’s raining.
T: Yes. It’s raining. It’s a rainy day. It’s rainy.
Write rainy on the blackboard。
教师用红色粉笔涂出字母y,然后告诉学生:字母y是个魔法字母,它喜欢跟在天气词语后面,变成新的单词捉弄别人:(激发学生的好奇心,促使他们认真听讲)如:rainy魔法字母y跟在rain后面构成了形容词rainy,表示“下雨的、有雨的”,用来描述天气情况。最后鼓励学生运用:
T: Oh! Today is a rainy day. I should take out my raincoat. / We should take an umbrella on a rainy day.
(3) 参考上述会话,结合单词卡片和添加魔法字母y的构词法,借助已经学过的单间snow, wind和cloud,引出并教授词snowy, windy和cloudy。(教师在教授snowy单词时可以做发抖状或是拿出所准备的外套穿在身上)
2. Teaching new word sunny
(1) 教师可以通过学过的单词sun引出新单词sunny。教授单词sunny时教师要注意提醒学生:魔法字母y遇见的单词sun是一个特殊的闭音节单词,应该要双写该单词最后一个字母后才能加魔法字母y。
(2) 引导学生加以运用,如教师随手从包里拿出所准备的太阳镜戴上并用手遮住脸表示太阳晒眼睛:oh! It’s sunny.

(1) 教师出示天空的图片或PPT,并发问:
T: What’s this?
Ss: Sky.
T: Look at the sky. What’s in the sky?
Ss: The sun.
T: That’s right. There is the sun in the day time. But what can you see at night?
(2) 教师出示晚上天空的PPT或图片:
S1:星星。
S2:月亮
T: Yes. We can see many stars.
教学提示:单词star表示一颗堵星,它的复数形式直接在单词末尾加字母s,构成stars “许多星星”。之后,教师可以借助歌曲Little Star来加深学生对单词star的记忆。助歌曲Little Star来加深学生对单词star的记忆。
T: We can see the moon, too.
5. Teaching new phrase weather report
教师播放所准备的天气预报视频,引入并学习短语:
T: Do you often watch TV? Do you often watch this program(节目)? Doyou know what program it is?
Ss:天气预报
T: Yes. That’s weather report.
板书并领读短语weather report,之后,可就该短语稍作讲解:
T: weather, 名词“天气”;report名词“报告”。
最后引导学生加以运用:
T: Please watch the weather report on TV.(教师指着天气预报地图中学生的所在地,引导他们观察并运用刚刚所学的单词描述当天的天气情况)
T &Ss: It’s cloudy / windy / sunny / rainy / snowy.

1、 教师播放录音,学生模仿其语音语调跟读Let’s learn部分的词汇。
2、 教师出示Let’s learn部分的词汇卡片,学生抢读或分组读,看谁反应快。

教师将学生分成几组,然后分别向每组的学生出示图片,改组同学看图说出单词后,一人说一个字母,接力拼读出该单词。
