Step 1 Greeting and leading-in
1. Greeting the whole class as usual
T: Good afternoon boys and girls. How are you?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you?

2. Leading-in

(Show some pictures)
---What does he/she do?

Step 2 Presentation
1. Revision
Review some words about profession(worker, farmer, doctor, teacher, singer, policeman, ...)
---What is your father?
---He is a scientist.
---What does your mother do?
---She is doctor.
2. Teacher asks ss a new question, what do you want to be in the future, and ask some students to answer this question.
3. Show some pictures about other people’s dream, and lead ss to make a sentence like I want to be a tour guide.
4. Lead ss to read phrases about dream one by one.
Step 3 Practice
1. Oral practice
Student read new phrases in groups, and then ask group members’ dreams one by one. And teacher chooses several groups to give a presentation.(use sentence patterns)
---What’s your dream?
---I want to be a tour guide.
2. Exercise
1) Make sentences with words
2) Complete sentences
Step 4 Consolidation
Do a competition between boys and girls.
Teacher should draw two trees on the blackboard, so long as the boys or the girls get the right answer, draw an apple on their tree. And give a small gift to the winner in the end.
