    Step1 Greeting

    T: Class begins.            S: Stand up!

    T: Good morning, boys and girls.       S: Good morning teacher.

    T: Nice to meet you.   S: Nice to meet you, too.

    T: Sit down, please.      S: Thank you.

    T: Today, we are going to learn unit 9 have you ever been to a museum? (PPT呈现教学目标)Before our class, Ill show you a video, let’s enjoy it together.

    Step 2 Lead in

    T: Do you like these fun places?     S

    T: Do you like Paris? Tokyo?   S

    T: Which city do I like? Make a guess. Yeah, you know the song. Yes, I like Chengdu and I have been to Chengdu many times. And today, I want to show you around Chengdu. Let’s go!

    Step3 Presentation

    T: I have been to the Panda Base. I went there last year. I have taken some photos with the cute pandas there. And I have been to Tianfu Square, I went there with my father, I have eaten longchaoshou there. I have also been to Chengdu Zoo. I went there when I was 10, younger than you, I have seen so many lovely animals there. Have you ever been to a zoo?

    S1: Yes, I have.

    T: When did you go there? / Who went there with you? / What did you see there? / How do you like it?

    S1: I went there

    T: Have you ever been to a zoo?

    S2: Yes, I have.

    T: When did you go there? / Who went there with you?/ What did you see there? / How do you like it?

    T: Have you ever been to a zoo?

    S3: No, I Havent.

    T: It doesnt matter. Do you want to go there?

    S:  Yes, I do.

    T: Maybe you can go there one day.

    T: Where are they?

    S: They are in a water park.

    T: Yes, they are in a water park!  Have you ever been to a water park?

    S5: Yes, I have.

    T: Me, too. I have been to a water park, too. / So have I.I have also been to a water park.

    T: This is Changlong Water Park, its the largest water park in China, have you ever been there?

    S6: No, I havent.

    T: Me neither. I havent been to Changlong Water Park. Read after me, neither, neither. 

    T: Neither have I. I havent been to Changlong Water Park.  Do you want to go there?

    S6: Yes, I do.

    T: Lets go there together.

    S: How about this summer?

    T: Sounds great.

    S: Ok, deal!

    T: Xu, watch carefully! Exciting?

    S: Yes!

    T: Do you like this place? They are in an Can you read it by yourselves?

    T: Lets go on! And this is Chengdu Museum, its a history museum. Have you ever been to a museum?

    T: Have you ever been to a museum?

    S11: Yes, I have. I have been to the

    T: So have I, I have been there, too. Now, lets read it. Girls A boys B, go!

    T: Have you ever been to an art museum, such as Sichuan Opera Museum?

    S12: No, I havent.

    T: Me neither. I havent been to an art museum. Have you ever been to an art museum?

    S13: No, I havent.

    T: Neither have I. Lets go there someday.  Now, lets read it. Boys A girls B, go!

    T: What kind of museum is it? Do you know?

    S

    T: Yes, you are so clever. Its a nature museum. Have you ever been to a nature museum?

    S

    T: You are A, I am B, go.

    S1, S2…

    T: Well, just now, we have seen a history museum, an art museum and a nature museum. Do you know any other kind of museums?

    S… (抽三人)

    Step 4 Group work

    T: Have you ever been to these museums? Now, lets share with your partners. (抽三组 ) Four students in a group, ask and answer like this.

    Step 5 Listening

    T: Just now, we have shared with our classmates, today, we have two new friends, Harry and Sarah, lets say hi to them, they are also travelling in Chengdu, they like museums very much, and now, listen carefully and find out, have they ever been to these museums?(第一次播放)

    T: Sarah has been to a science museum, but has she been to a history museum?    S

    T: Has Harry been to a history museum?   S

    T: So, have they been to a history museum?   S

    T: How about the art museum? Have they been to the art museum?   S

        And I believe that you have been to many interesting places out of Chengdu, even out of Sichuan in China. Now, discuss with your group members about one place you have been to. First, choose a reporter in each group, and ask these questions, then give us a report.  Go!(抽三人)
