一、学情分析 | 8年级的学生已经掌握了基本的英语学习素质,也有了一些语言素材积淀,他们正值青春期,对于音乐的热爱达到了一个高峰,尤其是我们班的学生,有几个英文歌曲的积极分子,他们有广大的粉丝团队,对其他同学能够起引领作用。并且上周我们去了研学旅行,在途中,同学们也大声地歌唱,学唱了传统的华阴老腔,恰巧为我这次上课提供了良好的气氛。 | |||||
二、教材分析 | 本节课是人教版新目标英语8年级下册第8单元,本单元主要以现在完成时为主要学习的语法内容,也通过各种时态对一件事情进行描述(一般现在时、过去时、现在完成时、将来时)。涉及的话题是有关西方的文学作品和西方的流行乐队,旨在培养学生高尚的思想情操,用他们感兴趣的流行音乐为引子,让每个学生都有话说,以达到语言的实用性的体验。也为学生展示了一种新的学习英语的思路-通过英文歌曲学习。 | |||||

Step 1 Warming up Ask students if they have seen the new movie Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2. The teacher looks very young with a big earphone on the ears, wearing a T-shirt and pair of jeans. Tell students no matter when it is and no matter where we are, we all need music. Do you like music? Today we are talking about the music.
Step 2 New words Learn the new words: 9 kinds of music pop music, rock music, country music, classical music, folk music, light music, jazz, rap, Huayin laoqiang Let students close their eyes and enjoy the different kinds of music. Then we will learn how to express the different kinds of music. Meanwhile I will ask students some questions. What kind of music is it? What is the name of the song? Who sings it? And do you enjoy it? How does it make you feel? What do you think of the song?
Step 3 Presentation What kind of music do you like? I like pop music because it is exciting. I feel excited when I listen to it. I prefer country music because it is very natural. I feel relaxed when I listen to it. I’m fond of rock music because it is really loud and full of energy. I’m crazy about pop music because it is exciting. I feel excited when I listen to it. Then the teacher asks 2 students to talk about their favorite singer and music. We will learn something about the band. Because later there are some difficult sentences for them.
Step 4 Listening Dave and Alex are talking about their favorite band, ask them to listen and fill in the chart. Take notes.
Step 5 Practice Ask students to talk about the band -The Toms. They should ask and answer questions according to the chart.
Step 6 Group work Encourage students to talk about his or her favorite singers or band in the groups of three. Ask some students to act their reports. And we will check their homework.
Step 7 Show time Our school will hold the English Talent Show at the end of this month. Xi wants to make a band and ask some students to join her.

The students will be so excited to see the teacher and they will be eager to have the class.
Maybe they don’t know jazz, rap. Classical and folk are also hard for them.
They will be very happy to hear Huayin laoqiang. It will remind them of the nice school trip.

十、教学反思 | 存在问题 | 这节课带领着孩子们一起徜徉在音乐中,享受着音乐和语言带给我们的美好,导课时,我头戴耳机,腰间挎着随身听和孩子们讨论周末热映的银河护卫队的星爵,利用本节课的重点句型Have you seen the movie – Guardians of the Galaxy?传递给学生一个信息,无论身处何地,无论任何时间,音乐都是非常重要的。通过音频我们听了各种不同的音乐类型的歌曲,并且简单的讨论了这首歌曲带给我们的感觉,学习了很多表示情绪的形容词。我们一起讨论了音乐的类型,从流行乐、古典乐到轻音乐,到说唱,由陕西的黑撒乐队唱的《陕西美食》,把所有的人唱的乐开了花,再播放孩子们上周游学去关中民俗园学唱的华阴老腔,一下子把气氛推到了顶点,大家都很兴奋。接下来顺势讨论个人最喜欢的音乐类型,以及这个音乐带来的感受,此时补充了关于喜欢的词汇,prefer,be fond of,be crazy about帮助学生后面充分的表达。邀请学生分享自己的偶像,由于之前就知道有个小姑娘特别喜欢EXO这个韩国组合,及时的叫起她来,顺便就丢出这个组合的照片,和他们分享,并且铺垫下面听力中的一个稍难的句子full of energy,紧接着又抛出一个五月天乐队,也是为了铺垫听力材料wake me up and make me happy for the rest of the day。然后进行听力,Dave和Alex正在讨论一个乐队,请学生们听听力并且填写表格。而表格内容也是设计的包含各种时态。2个人一组进行听力表格的对话练习。但是听完两遍之后发现一部分学生对于一些内容不能完全的消化,于是当机立断再听一遍。然后看着表格进行复述,为下面的report做铺垫。接着检查前一天的家庭作业,他们提前做了功课,对自己喜欢的明星都查询了资料,打印了图片,3个人一组,进行汇报。时间把控比较到位,学生对于这一话题也有话可说,表现的不错,叫了一些学生进行分享,最后叫了班级里的音乐发烧友,她谈论了自己喜欢的明星,并且唱了一曲,表达了想为英语才艺大赛招募乐队成员的意愿,大家都很愉悦。但课堂气氛一开始并不是特别热烈,其中几个歌曲,我感觉很经典,而学生却不知道,也许我一开始给他们听的音乐,并不是完全的和他们达到共鸣。我只考虑音乐的类型,选择的歌曲和学生有年代差,还是没有充分的考虑学生的主体地位。最后,让学生分享自己喜欢的明星时,他们得到的同学之间反馈不够充分。 |
改进措施 | 如果下次再上这节课,我一定会和学生再充分的沟通,了解他们喜欢的音乐和歌手,平时也多学习,多增加自己的见识和阅历,除了传递给学生知识之外,能传递给他们更多的信息和对于美好生活的追求,引导他们积极地思维品质,以及高质量的学习生活体验,做一个新时代的教师。在让学生分享的时候,应该邀请他们到教室的前面,拿着他们的明星照片,给大家边看边说。 |
