【学情分析】
每个人都希望被他人关注,重视.这一现象在个性初步形成的初一学生身上更能得到充分的体现.能得到老师的赞赏对他们而言是一种巨大的肯定,这会让他们更加认真地投入到课堂活动中,利于教师更顺利地开展教学活动.
【教学目标】
1.语言知识
认知词汇: visiting, show, around, classroom, office, plan, fun, lab
2.语言技能
(1)学会向他人介绍自己学校里的建筑和设施;
(2)学习句型: —What's this/ that? —This/ That is …
3.情感态度
(1)激发学生听,说,读,写英语的兴趣,提高学生运用英语进行实际交际的能力.
(2)帮助学生树立自信心,乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与.

磁带,录音机,词汇卡片.
【教学过程】
1.Class opening (5 minutes)
(1)Warming up
Greeting: Greet your class by saying "Hello" or "Hi". Ask the students to respond with "Hello" or "Hi".
(2)Review
师生利用已学句型做如下对话:
Hello! My name's …
What's your name?
How are you?
教师指着某个男孩或女孩提问: This is a boy/ girl. What's his /her name?
S: His/ Her name is…
(多找几个学生进行如上练习.)
2.New Concepts (28 minutes)
Welcome to Our School.
(1)出示实物或者图片
T: What's this/ that?
S: This/ That is a …
T: We have… here/ there.
播放录音,让学生听两遍后,第三遍跟读,然后重复录音内容,教师进行讲解.最后再听一遍录音并跟读.
教师板书:
What's this/ that?
This/ That is a …
We have … here/ there.
让学生指读几遍.
(2)Group Work
以小组为单位,手执图片,第一人问What's this/ that? 第二人回答This/ That is a …
然后再问第三人What is it for? (它是做什么用的?)直至全组结束为止.教师提醒学生尽量模仿刚才录音中的语音语调.
a.Play a listening game
选一名英语水平较高的学生来到前面,对同时出示的几张图片模仿本课进行描述,请同学们排出序号,看谁得分高,酌情为小组加分.
b.Practice in pairs
两人一组,一问一答,然后交替进行练习.两分钟后,请各小组上前演示,为小组加分.
3.Class Closing (2 minutes)
(1)Summarize
教师小结或引导学生归纳.
(2)Homework
让学生课下任意结组,练习今天所学问答.
【教学反思】
本课内容较多,What's this/ that? This/That is a … 为重点. We have lessons here. Our teachers plan their lessons here. We play sports and have fun there. We get books there. 为难点.在教学活动中我以学生发展为主体,采取实物,图片和多媒体教学,同时运用多样化的练习活动方式,让学生在学习过程中不感到枯燥,保持语言的新鲜感,不断激发学生深入学习的兴趣.
