数   词

考点 1   具体数词 + hundred /thousand /million /billion ...

考点 2   泛指不确定的数量时，用“dozens of 、hundreds of 、 thousands of ...”

考点 3   常见用法

①    a three-day holiday 、 an 8-year-old girl

②    two meters long = two meters in length

③    another three days passed = three more days passed = three other days passed

④    unit six = the sixth unit 、 Lesson Four = the fourth lesson 、Class Two，Grade Five

⑤    in the 1980’s = in the 1980s

⑥    the 21stcentury

⑦    July 1（st），2020

考点 4  表示年龄

① 7 years old = 7 years of age = at the age of 7

② in one’s + 整十的基数词的复数。如：in his sixties.

考点 5   表示分数

①    分子为1 ： one fifth

②    分子大于1 ： two fifths

③    1/2 : one half (a half)     1/4 : a quarter = one fourth

                               3/4 : three fourths = three quarters

④ 分数 + of + 名词 时，谓语动词的形式与分数后的名词单复数一致

   One third of the students are girls.

   One third of the milk is mine .

考点 6   表示钟点

①    整点： 5 o’clock

②    分钟小于30 min 用past ： fifteen（a quarter） past eight

③    分钟大于30 min 用 to ：twenty to eight

考点 7   表示倍数

(1)         倍数+ as+ adj./adv.原级 + as。   如： My room is four times as big as yours.

(2） 倍数+ adj./adv.比较级 + than。   如:  The river is five times longer than that one.

(3） 倍数+ the size／length／weight…+ of + 表示比较级对象的名词。

如： This bridge is three times the length of that one.
