Part A第一课时 Let’s learn & make a map and talk

教学目标

1.能够听、说、读、写单词或短语：hospital, cinema, post office, bookstore，science，museum。

2.能够在情境中恰当运用句型：

 Where is the cinema?

 It’s next to the bookstore.

 并进行关键句的替换操练。

Step 1Warm-up

1.师生之间如往常一样进行简单的问候。2.Ask the Ss:

—How do you go to school？

—I go to school by bus/by plane/on foot.

—Where is your home?

—It’s near the post office.

1.导入新单词：

science, museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital

T:I want to buy some books, where can I go？Ss:……(用PPT导出一张书店的图片，并告诉学生，I can go to the bookstore)

T:I want to post the letter.

Can I go to the bookstore?

Where can I go?

Ss:……

(用PPT导出邮局图片，并教单词post office)

T:We want to see a film, where can we go?

Ss:……(引导学习cinema)

T:(老师假装身体不适)I’m not well today. where can I go?

1.教师播放图片，并询问学生：

T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a/an post office /school /cinema /bookstore /hospital.

2.播放录音磁带，完成Let’s try。

3.核对答案，并再次播放录音磁带，引领学生跟读。

4.Learn: Let’s talk

Listen to the tape and read after the tape.

5.师生之间进行问答，了解课文内容。

T：Where is the museum shop?

S:It’s near the door.

T:Where is the post office?

S:It’s next to the museum.

6.教师引领学生跟读Let’s talk。

7.学生跟着磁带，跟读Let’s talk,学习正确的语音语调，并请同学两人一组练习对话。

   本单元A部分主要让学生学会用英语描述城市、乡镇中的一些建筑及位置关系，教师一定要通过反复练习的方式让学生掌握该部分的单词，教师采用图片的方式避免了枯燥的灌输，让学生以主动实践的方式来学习发音，充分发挥学生的主观能动性，让由老师教变成学生主动学的局面，既活跃了课堂气氛，又提高了课堂效率。

教学目标

Step 1 Warm-up

1.Greetings

2.sing a song: where is the hospital?

Step 2 Presentation

1.通过游戏（what’s missing）进行复习。活动方式：全班先抽读单词卡片：science, museum ,post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital.

然后教师藏起其中一张单词卡片，问学生：What’s missing?

为最快说出答案的学生所在的组进行加分。2.教师先说一个公共场所的名称，接着让一个学生在重复教师所说场所名称的基础上再加一个场所的名称。

T：I can see a hospital.

S:I can see a hospital and a post office…

3.教学词组turn left/turn right。

（1）学生排成一列，跳兔子舞，学习left和right.

（2）跳完后，教师通过左手和右手动作重复单词right和left,板书并带读。

（3）教师发指令show me your right/left hand/leg，全班同学跟根指令边说边做。

4.教学词组go straight。

（1）教师在黑板上用尺子画一条直线，指着直线说This line is straight，板书并带读straight。

（2）教师指示直走图标说：go straight.并板书带读go straight。

5.教学单词：crossing。

（1）出示十字路口的图片并介绍：

This is a crossing.同时板书带读crossing。

6.教学Let’s learn。

(1)教师出示课文挂图，播放课文录音，全班静听，理解课文。

（2）板书Italian restaurant,告诉学生词组的意思并带读。

（3）教师播放let’s learn,学生逐句跟读。

Step 3 Consolidation and extension

1.教学 be a tour guide。

（1）教师展示PPT中课本的地图，并对学生介绍说:

   Chen Jie is trying to be a tour guide for Oliver in Beijing. Can you help her? For example, now we are in front of Tian’an men. Go straight and you can see the Palace museum.

（2）学生两人一组进行活动，并模仿编对话。

（1）抄单词和短语；

1.教学单词pizza, street。

（1）教师出示pizza的图片，并介绍说：

This is pizza. It’s a kind of Italian food.

板书：pizza,并带领学生升、降调读单词，然后采用大小声的游戏操练单词。

（2）教师出示street的图片，介绍说：“This is a street. Our school is on…street.”

板书并带读street.

2.教学句子How can I get to the…? Turn right at…

（1）教师出示自己绘制的学校周边示意图，与学生进行对话。

T：I’m hungry now. It there a restaurant near our school?

S:Yes,there is.

T:Please tell me how I can get to the restaurant.

S:Turn right. Go straight. Turn left at the crossing.

T:Thanks.

S:You’re welcome.

3.教学Let’s talk。

（1）教师播放Let’s talk的视频，要求学生带着问题看视频：

Where is the restaurant? How can I get there?视频播放完后，让学生回答。

（2）播放Let’s talk的视频，每句后暂停，全班跟读。

Step 3 Consolidation and extension

1.两人一组，分角色扮演Let’s talk 部分的内容，然后请一些学生到台前来表演。

2.完成 Let’s try，listen and check.

1.教学单词：GPS、gave、feature、follow、tell、far、compass。

(1)把新学的单词排成一行，对应的中文打乱顺序后也排成一行，让学生连线。

（2）告诉学生们每个单词对应的中文意思，并带读，使学生掌握新词。

3.让学生观赏课文视频，了解短文内容。

4.教师播放短文内容，学生通过听来完成下列空格。

6.教师再次播放视频，每句后暂停，全班跟读。

教师让学生翻开课本，试读这些句子，并提醒学生注意语音、语调。然后播放录音，学生边听边跟读。

3.大显身手。按要求写句子。

本单元B部分主要是让学生灵活的问路与指路，通过问路与指路相关内容来引导学生会听懂一些相关的材料，同时遇到相应情景会用口语表达与交流。该部分更加注重学生的实际运用能力。希望教师在该部分教学时，能创设出相应的情境，让学生能灵活的把这部分知识运用于现实的生活情景当中，能正确使用英语为他人指路。
