【语法小贴士】
宾语从句
一、 概念
宾语从句是指在复合句中充当宾语的句子。
e.g. We knw that Mr. Green teaches English.
I am glad that yu can cme fr dinner.
二、用法。
1. 由that引导的宾语从句
that 在句中无意义,在从句中不充当成分,在口语当中往往省略。宾语从句可用于主句动词之后,如knw, think, believe, hpe, mean, ntice, say, find; 也可用于主句形容词之后,如be certain, be sure, be glad.
e.g. 我听说你通过了考试。I hear (that) yu ______ ______the exam.
2. 由whether/if 引导的宾语从句
if/ whether 意思是“是否”,在从句中不充当成分,常用在ask, wnder, can(culd) yu tell me 等后。
e.g. 我问他是否喜欢我。 I ask him ______ he _______me.

3. 宾语从句的语序是陈述语序,即“连接词+主语+谓语+其他成分。

三、 时态。
1. 主句为一般现在时,从句的时态不受主句影响。
e.g. Tm想知道他的爷爷下周是否回来。

2. 主句为一般过去时,从句用与过去相关的时态。
e.g. Kate said there ________ a bx under the desk. (be)
3. 从句说明的是一般真理、客观事实、自然现象、名言时,仍用一般现在时。
