2. Shw a picture f a yellw cat and say, “The rulers in ancient Chinaliked wearing yellw.” Shw the sentences and lead in the bject clauses.
We knw that it is a yellw cat.

Step 2 Grammar A
1. Give them sme explanatins abut bject clausesintrduced by that.
T:An bject clause functins as the bject f a sentence. We use that t intrduce an bject clause that is a statement.
An bject clause can be put after verbs such as say, find, knw, think, believe, hpe, nticeand mean.

An bject clause can als fllw adjectives such as certain, sure and glad.
He is glad that the walls in his rm are blue.

1.当主句是一般现在时的时候,宾语从句的时态不作限制,我们可以根据句
子的需要使用任何一种时态。(需要性原则)
2.当主句是一般过去时的时候,宾语从句必须用相对应的过去的某一种时
态,从而达到主句和从句的时态一致。(呼应性原则)
3.当宾语从句说明的是客观事实或者是客观真理时,就不用受到主句时态的限制,仍用一般现在时。(特殊性原则)
