教学内容：外语教学与研究出版社义务教育教科书《新标准英语》五年级上册第一模块第一单元

教材分析：

本册教材是供小学五年级上学期使用的。五年级的教材侧重对本套教材涉及的全部语法现象以及重要知识点的全面复习巩固以及进行一定的延展。本节课的主要内容是运用There be 句式的过去和现在（包括肯定和否定）两种形式描述一处场景的变化和不同。因为这是本模块的第一课时，所以要让学生正确区分运用There be 句式的过去和现在，引导学生在情境中感受be动词is\are及was\were的使用并能运用There be 句式结构的过去和现在恰当描述一处场景的变化和不同。

学情分析：

对于五年级学生来说，There be句式并不陌生，在三、四年级已有初步的学习，涉及到There be句式的现在和过去形式，知道There be 句式表示存在，There is\are代表现在，There was\were代表过去，并知道There is\was代表单数，There are\There were代表复数,但部分学生运用得不够灵活、准确。通过本节课的学习,可以使学生巩固There be句式的过去和现在形式的正确使用。在活动的设计上，要注意采用任务型的教学模式，通过学生在活动中参与，体验，交流，合作，主体性得到充分发展，综合语言能力得到提高，在学中用，用中学。

此外，处在信息化发达的电子时代，学生们对网络学习资源也是非常感兴趣的，课内加入了孩子喜欢的网络学习资源，也大大提高了学生的学习兴趣。同时，运用网络当课检测学生的学习情况，并得到及时的反馈，再进行有针对性的夯实强化，也达到了很好的教学效果。

教学目标：

   a.语言知识目标：

1. 功能：描述一处场景的变化和不同。

2. 语法：There be句式过去和现在形式的运用。

3. 词汇：全体学生能理解并运用bench，了解for，different, then.

4. 语音：进一步感知语句重音及字母组合ench的发音.

   b.语言技能目标：

1．听：全体学生能听懂功能句There weren’t any benches here before. There was a house. There wasn’t a clock here before. There is one now.

2. 说：全体学生能说：There weren’t any benches here before. There was a house. There wasn’t a clock here before. There is one now.

3. 读：全体学生能认读bench、for、different、then全体学生能流利朗读课文。

4. 写：全体学生能拼写：bench

5. 运用：全体学生能运用There weren’t any benches here before. There was a house. There wasn’t a clock here before. There is one now. 此类语句描述一处场景的变化和不同。

   c.情感态度目标：

通过描述家乡的变化，激发学生热爱家乡的自豪感。

教学重点：

学习、理解词汇bench，了解for、different、then；熟练、灵活运用目标语句There weren’t any benches here before. There was a house. There wasn’t a clock here before. There is one now. 描述一处场景的变化和不同

教学难点：

There be 句式过去和现在的正确使用；There be句式过去时否定形式的运用。

教学过程：

一、热身启动（preparation）

1. T: Hello, boys and girls! Let’s sing a song together.

(Sing the song’At the zoo’. And do the actions)

2. T: At the zoo, there are many animals. What about our classroom? What’s in the classroom now?

  Ss: There is a …in the classroom. There are …in the classroom.

3. T: Look at all the animals. Please remember where they are. And we’ll play a memory game.

Ss:学生根据记忆描述小动物的位置：There was a cat here before. There were two fish here before…

二、课文呈现(presentation)

1. Present the task.

T: 课件出示图片并描述：Look! This is Xinghai Square before. And this is Xinghai Square now. There wasn’t a pond here before. There is a pond now. There wasn’t a museum here before. There is a museum now. There wasn’t a big book here before. There is one now. There weren’t many tall buildings before. There are many tall buildings now. There weren’t many flowers here before. There are many flowers now. So great changes have taken place in Xinghai Square. Yes or No ? Today let’s talk about changes and try to find the differences. After learning we’ll talk about what changes have taken place in our hometown Dalian , OK? Let’s learn  Module1 Unit1.(板书课题)

2. Present the new text.

a. (一遍听音)T: Who’s she?(此处运用聚焦功能) Do you still remember where is she going to go this summer?

  Ss: She’s Lingling. She’s going to go to the UK.

  T: Yes. And now she’s in London with Sam and Amy.(继续聚焦)Where did they go in London? Sam and Amy were in China for two years. Does London look different now?

b. (二遍听音) T: The park is different. What’s in the park now? Let’s watch and answer.

引出句子There are benches now. There is a clock now.

         There are birds, too.

c. (三遍听音) T：Boys and girls, there are benches in the park now. There is a clock in the park now. What was in the park before? Were there any benches here before? Was there a clock here before? Please open your books, let’s listen and underline the answers.

引出句子：There weren’t any benches here before.

          There was a house. 

          There wasn’t a clock here before.

d. T：Let’s read the sentences on the board. And then we’ll have a group discussion. What can you find from these sentences?

e. （模仿跟读）T：Do they like the park now? What can they do? Let’s listen and repeat.

f. Read the text by yourselves.

g. Read in roles.

三、Practice

1. Good job， children!  Let’s do an exercise: Read and choose.

2. Well done, children ! Now, this is task 1 for you. Look! This is the house before. And this is the house now. Can you find the changes? Please work in pairs and then we’ll chant together.

3. Children, you’ve done a good job. Here comes task2 for you. Please try to find the differences in each picture. Please watch carefully.

4. Ok, children. Here comes our task 3. This was the classroom before. And this is the classroom now. Please try to find the changes in this classroom. Please work in boys’ group and girls’ group. And then we’ll have a match between boys and girls.
