    Module 4 Unit 1 We’re going to tell stories.教学设计

    一、Teaching Aims

    1. Aims on the knowledge

    (1) All the students will be able to understand the text.

    (2) Most of the students will be able to listen, speak and read the following key words and key sentences: stories, invitation; What are we going to do? We’re going to …

    2. Aims on the ability

    (1) All the students will be able to talk about weekend plans with the help of pictures.

    (2) Most of the students will be able to use “be going to” to talk about what they are going to do for the children at the Welfare Home for Children on Children’s Day.

    3. Aims on the emotion

    (1) Help students form good habits to tidy up in time.

    (2) Cultivate students’ abilities to perceive and try to use English actively.

     

    二、Teaching Key and Difficult Points

    1. Difficult Points: Students are able to use key patterns “be going to” to talk about plans in context appropriately.

    2. Key Points: Enable students to listen, speak, read and use “What are we going to do? We’re going to …”

     

    三、Teaching & Learning Strategies

    (1) With the support of pictures, phrases and structures, help students express what they have learned.

    (2) Make full use of pictures of the text to help students collect information.

     

    四、Teaching Procedures

    Step1.Warm up.

    1. Talk about the pictures. Who is he? What’s he doing? Listen and check your answer.

    2. Teach tell story,stories

    3.Do the children like Daming’s story? Why?

    4.Listen and say. Try to imitate.

     

    Step2.Prasentation and practise.

    1.Talk about picture 1.

    T:Who are they? What’s this? Who’s birthday party?

    (通过交流图片,引出invitation

      There are many kinds of invitations. What’s the Amy’s invitation about?

     What does Amy say? How old is Amy going to be?

    T:How old are you ? When is your birthday?

    2. Learn the second part of the dialogue.

    T: What are they going to do? Watch the vedio.

    S: They’re going to have lunch together.

    T: Pair work.

    T: What are they going to eat? Are they going to eat a birthday cake? Who’s going to make a cake for her?

    T: Think and answer. At the party, what else are we going to do?

    S; We’re going to …

    (通过这个问题整体感知课文,引出本节课的主要句型结构,并让学生在此基础上进行拓展练习。)

    3. Learn the third and fourth part of the dialogue.

    (1)T: They’re going to have lunch together. :After lunch , what are they going to do? And then what are they going to do? Read picture 3 and underline.

     (承接上面的问题,通过阅读——填空——操练,巩固本节课的重点句型。)

    (2) T: They’re going to tell stories. They’re going to see a film. They’re going to have a good time. But,what does Ms Smart say? Then help students pay attention to the sequence of things the children are going to do. And help them form good habits to tidy up in time.

    4.Listen and imatate.

    5.Do a role play.

     

    Step 3.Consolidation and extension.

    1. Fill in the blanks.

    2.AB Practise 4. Let’s say.

    3.Make a plan.

    (Practise 4 进行机械操练,并在班级的真实情景中进行交流,将所学知识加以运用。)

     

    Step 4. Summary

    What have we learned today? We have learned Amy’s birthday party and we have shared our Children’s Day’s plans. Remember: We can use “be going to” to talk about plans.

     

    Step5.Homework

    1.Listen and repeat the dialog.

    2. Finish the paper and share in your class.
