One possible version:
His abstract image attracted the imagination of his classmates. Whose hand could it be? One child guessed it was the hand of a farmer, because farmers raised turkeys. Another suggested it was the hand of a police officer, because the police protected and cared for people. Still others guessed it was the hand of Douglas’ mother, for his mother gave birth to him and fed him. And so the discussion went — until the teacher almost forgot the young artist himself.
When the children had gone on to other assignments, she paused at Douglas’ desk, bent down, and asked him whose hand it was. The little boy looked away and murmured, “It’s yours, teacher.” Feeling surprised, she called up the times she had taken his hand and walked with him here or there, as she had the other students. How often had she said, “Take my hand, Douglas, we’ll go outside.” Or, “Let me show you how to hold your pencil.” Or, “Let’s do this together.” Douglas was most grateful to his teacher’s hand. Brushing aside her tears, she went on with her work.

https://www.readersdigest.co.uk/lifestyle/dating-relationships/which-countries-have-the-lowest-divorce-rates-why
从第一段 “Latvia, Lithuania and Belgium lead the way for the highest divorce rates in Europe. And in the USA, between 40-50% of marriages will end in divorce. The country with the lowest divorce rate in the world is India, followed by Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Turkey.”
根据第二段“A country like Chile only legalized divorce in 2004, so the concept is still quite new and the local uptake is likely to be much slower.”
从第三段“Countries such as India with a strong religious following are more likely to have low divorce rates. This is because marriage is more sacred(神圣的) when viewed from a religious perspective. Couples will be more likely to seek settlements or simply stay together regardless when they hit bumps in the road.”
