Revision（复习）T: Let’s review the useful words and phrases of the passage.T: Now look at these phrases and sentences. Can you try to write them in English? (喊学生回答出问题，老师给予相应的鼓励和赞美) 教学设计说明：通过复习巩固所学知识点和语言点 2. Discussion（讨论）(Work on 3a)T: We all have known that in American history, people now still remember two events. The first one is the death of Dr. Martin Luther King. The second one is the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York. Are there any events you remember well? Now, let’s talk about  an event you remember well. (教师把学生分成几小组让他们进行讨论，还应该四处走动进行相应的指导。) Have Ss read the example given on Slide 6. 教学设计说明：通过讨论来进一步复习上节课的文章，并且引入接下来的写作。 3. Writing（写作）(Work on 3b)T: Write a passage about an important event in your life.（在写作之前，给予相应的写作指导。然后，给学生时间写作，教师可以四处走动，以帮助学生改正错误）Go through the writing guide on slide 8.Have Ss focus on the useful sentence structures. 教学设计说明：锻炼学生运用过去进行时写作 4.
