Give sme examples n the big screen. simple, ver and ver again, believe, hundreds f, disagree, shape, fall, fall dwn, lk fr, pssible, impssible even, dangerus, already 4. Wrk n 1a. Write each wrd in the crrect clumn belw.
Ⅲ. Discussin 1. Wrk with yur partners. Think f ther wrds and write them in the chart in 1a. 2. Let Ss discuss the wrds and write them in the chart. 3. Let sme Ss read the wrds.
Ⅳ. Listening Wrk n 1c: 1. Tell Ss t listen t Alexis and Je’s cnversatin. and Number the pictures 1-3. 2. Play the recrding fr the Ss. Ss just listen fr the first time. Play the recrding again and number the pictures. 3. Play the recrding and check the answers with the Ss. Wrk n 1d: 1. T: Nw please read the sentences in 1d. Tell Ss they'll listen t the tape again. Then try t fill in the blanks with the wrds in the chart. 听力指导： 通过事物读句子及空格中的单词，可以看出，本听力重点要求我们听清句子的时态，因此我们在听时应重点听句子的谓语动词，并明确其时态。如果不能快速写下来，可以先做标记，在听完后再写完整。 2.
