   教学过程：

Step1 Revision

Revise the contents learnt last period and have a dictation.

Step 2  Presentation

Ask the students when they usually get up/have breakfast/have lunch/have dinner/go to bed.Help them to answer:I usually get up/have breakfast/have lunch/have dinner/go to bed at ten past five/ half past six/ a quarter past three/ a quarter to seven.

Teach the ways of expressing time and pay attention to the use of “past ” and “to”

Practice

 Translate the following:

 五点二十，七点半，八点十五，九点四十五，十一点五十

Step 3 1a Matching

Let the students match the activities with the time of day,check the answers.

Step 4 1b Practice

Let the students ask and answer in pairs according to 1a and the dialogue in 1b.

Ask some pairs to act out their dialogues.

Step 5 1c listen and circle

1.Students read the activities together ,making sure they understand them.

2.Play the tape for the students to listen and circle the activities they hear.

3.Listen again and write the time next to the activities .

4.Check the answers.

 Step 6 Practice

   Ask and answer questions about the students in your class like this:

A: When does Lucy/Tom usually get up/have dinner/go to bed…?

B:He/She usually get up/have dinner/go to bed…at….

Step 72aDiscussion

 Let the students discuss the activities in 2a and check the activities they think are healthy and tell the reasons.

Step 8 Test

1.翻译短语:

2.翻译句子：

（1） 你通常什么时候吃早餐？六点半

 (2)他通常什么时候做作业？七点四十五。
