教学过程:
Step1 Revision
Revise the contents learnt last period and have a dictation.
Step 2 Presentation
Ask the students what their favorite seasons are and why they like them.
Students discuss in groups and then ask and answer in pairs like this:
A: What’s your favorite season?
B: My favorite season is….
A: Why do you like it?
B: Because it is warm/cool….
Step 3 1a Matching
Let the students match the words with the pictures. The answers are: 1.d 2. a 3. e 4. b 5. c
Step 4 1b Practice
Let the students ask and answer questions about the weather in the picture in 1a.
Ask some pairs to act out their dialogues.
Step 5 1c and 1d listen and write
1.Students read the chart first ,making sure they understand them.
2.Play the tape for the students to listen and fill in the chart.
3.Listen again and check the answers.:

Step 6 2a Discussion
Let the students talk about the pictures with a partner in 2a .How’s the weather? What are the people doing? Then ask some pairs to act out their dialogues.
