I. Warming up

（热身活动）

Greet the class and enjoy an English song.

Check the homework.

II．Presentation

（呈现）

Look at the picture on p17and guess what the picture is about.

Read 2b,and answer the questions below the passage.

Ask students to read the article 2b and try to find out some words and phrases. Teacher   explain the difficult words and provide some help for students.

Key phrases: Cross the rive, get to school ,ride a bike, by bus, by train, go on a ropeway, play with my classmates, come true.

III．Practice

（练习）

First let students read the e_ mail to know the main meaning.

Ask them to finish the passage with the words in the box.

Then ask one student to read the passage to check the answers together.

Pay attention to the language points. For example, thanks for…；” want to do；leave my home； get there； talk to sb…

培养学生良好的阅读习惯，提高阅读理解能力。

IV．Consolidation

(巩固提升)

Write an email to Tom and tell him how you get to school according to the questions from3b.  

Tell Students to use the words: talk , walk, ride by, bus ,train, bike, plane, subway, boat.

Then ask students to make their own sentences with the information in the chart.

通过书写电子邮件，提高学生的书面表达能力。
