Unit 3 Means of transport
LESSON 16
在学习和交际中,不断加深理解英语运用在课堂教学活动中的灵活性,积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。
【知识目标】
1)能够听懂、会说、认读单词: taxi, zoo, bus,bike.
(2) 能够完成听力任务,分辨公交车等几种交通工具以及学校等目的地。
(3)能理解以下句型的含义:What's that? It's a taxi.
How do you go to school ?
We go to school by bus/car.
I take a taxi to school.
【能力目标】
(1)学会乘坐某种交通工具去某地的英文表达,并在实际生活中加以运用。
(2)能够听懂、会说、认读、默写上节课所学的新词汇: bus.bike.school,car,.能够熟练运用句型What 's this? It's.a .. We go to some place by 交通工具。
【情感目标】
(1) 能够在语境中理解中西语言表达方式上的不同。
(2) 提高生活语境的表达能力,敢于开口讲英文。
【教学重点】
1.句型: What's this ?-It's a …
How do you go to school? I go to school by…/I walk to school.
.词汇: bus, bike, school, car,taxi,zoo.
【教学难点】
Oral English in practical use and listening task.

Step 1. Greetings and warm-up activities
(1)Let’s review the words we’ve learned before. Then play the song.教师播放录音Let's sing.的歌曲,师生打拍子齐唱。
(2)Let’s make a short conversation. 学生口语表演。
Step 2. Watch the cartoon and answer the questions
Show them pictures and divide the students into four teams.Let them answer the questions that teacher ask. For example," How do you go to school?" I go to school by bus/car/taxi/bike.可以让学生根据具体情况回答也可以根据展示图片内容来回答问题。
Step 3.:Practice and perform.
Give students an example and some time to prepare the conversation.两人一组联系课文中的对话,然后挑选3组到教室前面做展示。
Step 4. Practice
Show them some listening exercises and then make a summary.
T: What did we learn this class?教师和学生一起总结本课时的教学重点,先由学生谈谈自己学了什么,教师再进行总结。
Step 5. Game
Teacher will prepare some paper that write bus, taxi bike, car,and then these pieces of paper will put into a box, without looking at it, students will get one from the box and make a short sentence using the pattern “I go to school by bus ”
Step 6. Homework
1Finish the listening task. .听录音,熟读课本内容。
2.Remember the content. 记忆单词和句型,理解它们的含义。
