    Step 1 Warming up and review.

    Step 2. New word presentation:

    1. T: Do you like watching TV?  S: Yes, I like

    2. Show some videos on the screen and ask some students to read the TV shows.

        T: What kind of TV show is it?   S: It’s a sitcom.

    Teach: game show, talk show, talent show, sports show, sitcom, soap opera, news,

    3. Give Ss some time and try to remember the new words and expressions.

    Step 3 . Work on 1a.

    1. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures.

    2. . Check the answers with Ss.

    Step 3:1b

    T: Jack and Mark plan to watch TV tonight. Now they’re talking about the TV shows. What TV programs are they talking about? Open your books and P33. Look at 1b.

    1.Listen and number the shows in the order you hear them., then check.

    2. What does Jack think of these TV shows? Listen again and fill in the blanks.

    Jack  doesn’t mind  talk shows. He thinks sometimes they can be a bit boring . He usually  can’t stand talent shows. But he thinks that one is quite funny  .

    3. Check the answers.

    Step 4: New language presentation

    1. T: I’m free tonight. I plan to(计划) watch TV for an hour.

    I love talent shows.  I like soap operas and talk shows.  I don’t mind sitcoms.

    I don’t like game shows and news.  I can’t stand sports shows. So, I want to watch China’s Got Talent (中国达人秀) tonight.

    What about you? What do you think of these TV shows?

    2. Practice:

    What do you think of game shows? Why?

    -- I love them. Because they’re interesting.

    动词不定式的形式:to + 动词原形

    常见的跟动词不定式做宾语的动词:

     想要 want,  期望 expect, 希望hope, 计划plan, 决定decide ,开始begin,开始start

    2. 最后,由各小组长来说一说他们小组所做的总结。

    3. 大屏幕出示常见的跟动词不定式做宾语的动词和同学们一起对答案。

    二、【拓展】省略to 的不定式

    有些动词后面跟动词不定式时应将不定式符号to省去。常见的动词有let, make, feel, help, watch, hear等。例句:

    让我来帮助你。 Let me help you. 

    你能帮助我打扫房间吗? Can you help me clean the house?

        2. Learn to express personal ideas and attitude towards different movies by using “love,

          like, don’t like, don’t mind, can’t stand”.

       3. Talk about movies and write movies reviews in a right way.

    Teaching procedure:

    Step 1. Lead in: Show a part of movie---Hero

     1..T: Do you like this movie? What kind of movie is it? Is it an action movie?

     Ss: Yes, it is. (Learn the word “action movie”—action movies)

    In the similar way, learn other kinds of movies, like “a comedy-comedies, a cartoon-cartoons,  

    a scary movie-scary movies”

        2. .Then do a guessing game.

    T: I will shows some pictures of TV shows and movies on the ppt quickly. Anyone who knows  

    them can stand up and tell others the answer fast. His/ Her group can get one score. At last,

    let’s see which group is the winner.

    After the game, read the names of TV shows and movies together.

    1. Work with your partners. Ask and answer about the movies or shows. 

    2. Let Ss talk about the movies or shows with the words in 1a. 

    3. Let some pairs ask and answer in front of the class.

    2. You'll listen to the tape again. Then try to fill in the blanks.

    第一类:动词+不定式  

    语法分析:有些及物动词后面可以用不定式表示动作的对象,这时不定式相当于名词或代词,做及物动词的宾语。

    16hate to do sth. 很遗憾做某事

    I hate to disturb you. 我很遗憾来打扰你。

    17determine to do sth. 决定/决心做某事

    ① He determined to help his two countrymen... 他决意帮助自己的两名同胞。

    ② He has determined to give up smoking. 他已决定戒烟。

    18ask to do sth.要求做某事,请求做某事

    ① I asked to see the Director. 我要求见主任。

    ② I must ask to be excused. 我必须请求原谅。

    19pretend to do sth. 假装做某事

    ① Sometimes the boy pretended to be asleep... 有时这个男孩会假装睡着了。

    ② He pretended to fall over. 他假装跌倒。

    20offer to do sth. 主动提出做某事
    ① He offered to help me. 他表示愿意帮助我。

    ② Peter offered to teach them water-skiing... 彼得主动提出教他们滑水。

    21dislike to do sth. 不喜欢做某事

    I dislike to go to the cinema alone. 我不喜欢一个人去看电影。

    22prepare to do sth. 准备做某事

    ① He had to go back to his hotel and prepare to catch a train for New York...他不得不回到酒店,准备赶火车去纽约。

     

     

    Period 7 不定式功能及常见不定式

     

    有些动词或动词词组可以跟疑问词+不定式,这时疑问词+不定式一起作宾语。如:
        decide  I can’t decide which book to buy. 我无法决定买哪一本书。

        know   I don’t know when to have the party. 我不知道什么时候举办派对。

    forget   I forgot how to do it.  我忘记怎样做了。

    learn   I have learned how to cook. 我学会了怎样做饭。
    show   Please show us how to do that. 请演示给我们如何去做。 wonder   They waited and wondered what to do.  他们等待着, 不知干什么。

    find out   I have found out how to make the cake.  我已经发现怎么做蛋糕。

    explain  Please explain where to begin and how to do it.请说明从什么地方开始, 以及如何做。

    有些动词如makehavegetwant等可用不定式作做宾补,也可用分词作宾补。现在分词表达主动,也表达正在进行,过去分词表达被动。
       第二类:动词 + sb. +不定式

    语法分析:有些及物动词后面要跟一个宾语,再跟一个不定式,不定式表示的动作是宾语发出的,是宾语补足语,宾语和不定式一起构成复合宾语。

    1tell sb. to do sth. 告诉/叫某人做某事

    My classmates told me to keep going , so I went on. (U1)

    2ask sb. to do sth. 请某人做某事

    My teacher asked me to clean the classroom.

    3want / like sb. to do sth. 想让某人做某事

    6order sb. to do sth. 命令某人做某事
