And tday marks the 11th anniversary f the terrible earthquake that struck Wenchuan Cunty in suthwest China’s Sichuan prvince.The earthquake was the strngest t hit China since 1950.At least 87,000 peple were killed r declared missing in the disaster.The earthquake left mre peple hmeless than any ther tremr (微震) in recrded histry.At least 4,800,000 peple required shelter after their hmes were destryed.Hwever, the impact (影响) f the Sichuan quake was nt nly felt thrugh the death tll (伤亡人数)—it als resulted in significant ecnmic lss.But Wenchuan has begun huge recnstructin since 2008.It is estimated (估算)abut 885 billin RMB, r 137 billin US dllars have been spent n rebuilding the affected area.
