    Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in

    通过师生问答活动复习旧知,活跃课堂气氛。通过图片和对话,引出新知,让学生初步感知字母组合w在单词中的发音。
    1. Greetings.

    通过创设情境,帮助学生找出这些单词含有字母组合w的共同点,让学生在情景中感知字母组合w的发音。培养学生的观察能力和逻辑思维能力。
    Step 2: Presentatin
    Lk and find.
    Shw a picture f a cw with the wrd “cw” n the PPT and ask, “What’s this?” (出示课件)Then shw a picture f sme flwers with the wrd “flwer” and say, “Ww! There are sme flwers. Hw beautiful!”(出示课件)
    At last, shw a picture with the wrd “dwn”. In the picture, a girl sits dwn beside the flwers. (出示课件) And say, “The girl likes flwers. She sits dwn and enjys the beautiful flwers.”
    Lead students t find the rule:All these wrds include the letter cmbinatin “w”. Emphasize “w” with red clur.

    2. Listen and find. (课件出示:教材P26 Let’s spell板块第一部分的单词)
    T:What’s the same in these wrds? Ss:They all have “w”.
    T:Yes! D they make the same sund? Let’s listen. And then discuss with yur partners.
    The teacher plays the recrding f “Read, Listen and Chant”. (出示课件) Students listen t the recrding and repeat. After they discuss, the teacher asks sme students t answer the questin.
    Ss:N! They make the sunds f /aʊ/ and /əʊ/.

    采用自然拼读法加深学生对字母组合w发音规则的认识,并在教师的帮助下总结出其发音规则。通过学习视频和跟读音频,让学生感受字母组合w的发音,并引导学生按照正确的语音、语调及节奏进行chant。通过男女生竞赛,激发学生学习语音的兴趣。

    yellw—/j/-/e/-/l/-/əʊ/ windw—/w/-/ ɪ /-/n/-/d/-/əʊ/
    Explain the prnunciatin methds and help students knw /aʊ/ and /əʊ/ thrugh the vide n teaching phnetic symbls (fr example, a BBC vide n teaching phnetic symbls).

    采用听、圈、说和写等方式进行操练,进一步巩固和加强学生对字母组合w发音的认识和记忆。
    The teacher plays the recrding f the chant f “Let’s spell”. (出示课件) Students listen t the chant and repeat. After reading tgether, students practice it between bys and girls. They can have a cmpetitin.

    Listen, circle and say.

    Ask students t read the wrds by themselves first. Then play the recrding. (出示课件) Let students listen and circle. Ask a student t say ut the answers and the reasns.
    Play the recrding again. (出示课件) Check the answers tgether. Ask students t read all these wrds again. (课件出示: 教材P26 Let’s spell板块第二部分的听力材料及答案)
    Listen, write and say.
    (课件出示:教材P26 Let’s spell板块的第三部分的内容)
    Ask students t bserve the pictures and guess the answers. Then play the recrding. (出示课件) Students listen t the recrding and try t write dwn the answers.

    本环节不仅提高学生语音识别能力,更让学生在活动中感受到自信,激发学生的学习热情,提高学生参与度。
    Play the recrding again. (出示课件) Check the answers with students. (课件出示:教材P26 Let’s spell 板块第三部分的听力材料及答案) Then ask students t read the sentences tgether. Ask students t chse ne sentence frm abve and write dwn n the line.
    Step 4:Cnslidatin & Extensin
    Am I right?
    Take ut the wrd cards with the letter cmbinatin “w”. Ask sme students t read ut the wrds ludly ne by ne. If smene is right, the ther students say “Yes”. If smene is wrng, the ther students say “N”. Then they read ut the right prnunciatin ludly. Play the game like this:
    The teacher shws the card and smene says:cw—/kaʊ/?
    Ss:Yes!
    The teacher shws the card and smene says:snw—/snaʊ/?
    Ss:N! /snəʊ/.
    Wh is the wner?
    Shw sme wrds with the letter cmbinatin “w” and the wners:/aʊ/ and /əʊ/. Students read the wrds and help them find their wners. The wrds:
    dwn, bwl, tmrrw, nw, flwer, rainbw, cw, yellw, grw.

    通过让学生搜集含有字母组合w的单词,拼读并分类,充分调动学生的积极性,提升学生自主学习的能力,增强小组合作意识。同时检测学生对于字母组合w发音规则的掌握情况,并进一步巩固其发音规则。
