    Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in

    2. Quick respnse.
    Shw sme wrds and phrases n the PPT ne by ne and ask students t read ut the wrds and the phrases quickly and ludly.
    Step 2: Presentatin
    Learn the wrd “sandwich”.
    Pint t the last wrd and ask:What’s this?
    Ss:Sandwich.
    T:Right. It’s “sandwich”.
    The teacher plays the recrding f “sandwich”. (出示课件) Students read after it. And then the teacher shws different kinds f sandwiches n the PPT.
    T:Lk! What are these? Please read tgether.
    T:All these are sandwiches. The “es” sunds /ɪz/. And “sandwiches” is the plural frm f “sandwich”.

    在学习新词的同时,创设情境,用新词操练核心句型,做到词不离句。
    The teacher writes dwn the wrd “sandwich” n the blackbard. And students read it several times after the teacher. Then read the wrd ne by ne.
    T:(with actins) I’m hungry. I’d like a sandwich. And I’m thirsty. I’d like sme range juice. I will g t a restaurant with my friends. Lk! This is my rder. My rder.
    T:Can yu ask me sme questins accrding t my rder?
    Students ask the teacher questins like “What wuld yu like t eat?” r “What wuld yu like t drink?”

    Ss:What wuld yu like t drink? T:I’d like sme range juice.

    Learn the wrds “hamburger” and “tea”.
    Shw a by and a girl n the PPT and intrduce them. (课件出示:Tm和Sarah的图片)
    T:They are my friends Tm and Sarah. They are hungry and thirsty, t. They g t the restaurant with me. Lk, this is Tm’s rder. Tm's rder.
    The teacher plays the recrding f “hamburger”. (出示课件)Students fllw it t read. Then the teacher shws sme pictures f hamburgers.
    T:(Pint t the beef hamburger.) What’s this?
    Ss:It’s a beef hamburger.
    T:(Pint t the chicken hamburger.) What’s this?
    Ss:It’s a chicken hamburger.
    Ask bys and girls t read. They can have a cmpetitin.
    Write dwn the wrd “hamburger” n the blackbard.
    T:Tm is full nw. But he’s thirsty. He wuld like sme tea.
    Play the recrding f “tea” and write it dwn n the blackbard. (出示课件)
    Students read after it. Then the teacher shws the pictures f “green tea” and “red tea”. (出示课件) Students read them.
    T:Nw yu are Tm. I ask and yu answer. OK? Ss:OK.
    T:What wuld yu like t eat, Tm? Ss:I’d like a hamburger, please.
    T:What wuld yu like t drink? Ss:I’d like sme tea.
    Then let students practice the dialgue between bys and girls and then exchange the rles.Teaching purpse
    采用不同的呈现形式引导学生学习目标词汇及句型,吸引学生的注意力,调动学生的学习兴趣,激发学生的学习热情和探索热情。
    Learn “salad” and “ice cream”.
    T:I’d like a sandwich and sme juice. Tm wuld like a hamburger and tea. Hw abut Sarah? Lk, this is her rder.
    T:What wuld Sarah like t eat? Can yu guess?
    Ask students t guess. Try t ask mre students t answer. Then remve the first cver. Students learn t read the wrd “salad” after the recrding. (出示课件) Write dwn the wrd “salad” n the blackbard. Then shw the pictures f salad. Students practice reading it in every grup.
    Pint t Sarah’s rder and ask.
    T:What else wuld Sarah like? Let’s have a lk.
    Remve the secnd cver. Ask students t learn t read “ice cream” after the recrding. (出示课件) Then explain “ice” and “cream” and write dwn the phrase n the blackbard. Students practice in grups. They can have a cmpetitin.
    Ask students t practice the key sentence patterns between the grups accrding t Sarah’s rder. They can d like this:

    (1) Students read the dialgue after the recrding. (课件出示:教材P25 Let’s learn板块的音频) Then read tgether. Pay attentin t the prnunciatin and the intnatin.
    (2) Students practice the dialgue in grups.

    转盘游戏巩固和加强核心词汇和句型,激发学生的兴趣,培养学生的语言综合运用能力。
    (3) Act ut the dialgue.
    Step 3: Practice
    1. A turntable game.
    (1) Put the new wrds and phrase n the turntable. Turn the turntable and ask students t read the wrds and the phrase.
    (2) Divide students int tw grups and turn the turntable. Grup One asks and Grup Tw answers with the key sentence patterns “—What wuld yu like t eat/drink? —I’d like…” Then exchange.
    2. Pair wrk. (课件出示:教材P25 Rle-play板块的图片)
    T:Lk! Zm and Zip are talking abut fd and drinks. They can write their rders. Can yu? Nw try t talk with yur partner and write dwn yur partner’s rder.
    3. Rle-play.
