Learn the wrd “healthy”.
Take ut sme apples frm the big bag.
T:What are these? Ss:Apples.
T:Right!Sarah’s favurite fruit is apples. Because they are healthy.
The teacher shws a card with the wrd “healthy” and reads the wrd three times slwly. Students read after the teacher. The teacher emphasizes its prnunciatin f the end f the wrd and writes it dwn n the blackbard. Lead students t cmpare the tw wrds: healthy (adj.), health (n.).
Practice “healthy” grup by grup.
T:An apple a day keeps the dctr away. Let’s eat an apple a day, because it’s healthy.
Learn the wrd “fresh”.
Take ut sme ranges with green leaves.
T:Mike’s favurite fruit is ranges. Can yu see the green leaves? They are fresh.
The teacher shws a card with the wrd “fresh” and reads the wrd three times slwly. Students read after the teacher. The teacher shws tw apples. One is fresh, and the ther isn’t fresh. Help students say: This apple is fresh. This ne isn’t fresh. Then the teacher writes dwn “fresh” n the blackbard.

Practice “fresh” between bys and girls.
Learn the wrd “delicius”.
Take ut sme pictures f beef.

The teacher shws a card with the wrd “delicius” and reads the wrd three times slwly. Students read after the teacher. The teacher splits the wrd int syllables t teach the wrd. The emphasis is n the secnd syllable.
T:Beef is delicius. Chicken is delicius, t.
Then write dwn “delicius” n the blackbard.
Practice “delicius” ne by ne.
Learn the wrd “ht”.
Ask students t read the wrd. Then take ut sme pictures f chillies.
T:Lk! Chillies are Amy’s favurite vegetable.
Then pretend t taste and say, “Ww! S ht! They are ht!”
Ask students t guess the meaning f “ht” and explain its ther meanings like this:
It’s ht in summer. The sup is ht.
Then write it dwn n the blackbard.
Practice “ht” in class.
Learn the wrd “sweet”.

(1) First, students read after the recrding f “Let’s learn”. (出示课件) Pay attentin t the prnunciatin and the intnatin.
(2) Students read the wrds tgether. They can have a cmpetitin in different grups.
(3) Students practice the dialgue f “Let’s learn” in pairs. Then act ut.

Game: What’s missing?
Shw the five wrds “healthy, fresh, delicius, ht, sweet” and let them disappear ne by ne at randm. Students shuld say the missing wrd as quickly as they can. (出示课件)

Ask every student t write dwn the five wrds n five cards. Then say ut a wrd. Students raise up the card and say ludly “× is here.” Divide students int grups. The grup that has the least errrs will be the winner.
