We use cnjunctins like , nt (als)..., , and t cnnect the same part f tw sentences t avid repetitin. 我们用连词bth…and…, nt nly…but als…, either…r…, neither…nr 连接两个句子的相同部分以避免重复。

(一) 表示“……和……都,既……又……”。当bth…and…连接两个成分在句中作主语时,谓语动词用复数。
(二)nt als... 表示“不但……而且……;不仅……还有……”。当nt nly…but als…连接两个名词作主语时,其谓语动词应与最近的一个主语在人称和数上保持一致。

(四)neither…nr… 表示“既不……也不……”,具有否定含义。当neither…nr…连接两个主语时,其谓语动词应与最近的一个主语在人称和数上保持一致。
e.g. Billy has nt finished his hmewrk. Daniel has nt finished his hmewrk. Neither Billy nr Daniel has finished his hmewrk.
