    过去进行时(一)1. 过去进行时的定义 过去进行时表示在过去某一时刻或某一段时间内在进行或发生的动作,常与表示过去的时间状语连用。
    2. 过去进行时态的构成 过去进行时由“was/were+现在分词”构成。过去进行时的各种形式如下: 肯定句式:主语+ was/were +现在分词+... 她在那儿工作。 She ______ _________ there.

    3. 过去进行时的基本用法 (1)表示过去某一时刻正在进行的动作。常用的时间状语有:at that mment (那时)at ten ’clck last night (昨晚十点)(at) this time yesterday (昨天的这个时候)等。
    我到达时,汤姆正在打电话。 _______ I ________, Tm ______ ________ n the phne.
    (2)表示过去某阶段正在进行或持续性的动作。常用的时间状语有:at that time (那时)last night (昨天晚上)等。那时,他正在悉尼工作。 At that time he _____ _________ in Sydney.
    (3)过去进行时与频度副词 always (总是), frever (永远)等时间状语连用时,表示说话者过去对某事情的厌烦、喜恶、褒扬等特殊情感。我在伦敦时他总是不停地给我打电话。(表 示厌烦) He was always ringing me up _____ I was in Lndn.
    (4)表示位移的动词的过去进行时可表示过去将要发生的动作。此类动词有: cme, start, stay, leave, fly, g等。昨天我要来,但是我母亲生病了。 I ____ _______ yesterday, but my mther was ill.

    4.一般过去时和过去进行时的区别相同点:两者都表示过去发生的动作。不同点:一般过去时态表示在过去已经完成的 动作;过去进行时态表示在过去正在 进行的动作。
