    Livestreaming (直播) thrugh channels such as Amazn Live and QVC is an increasingly ppular way t sell gds nline. It usually lasts between 5 and 10 minutes, and smene prmtes a prduct. Viewers can then readily buy it by clicking n a link.
    We analyzed (分析) 99,451 sales cases n a livestream selling platfrm and matched them with actual sales cases. In terms f time, that is equal t ver 2 millin 30-secnd televisin advertisements.
    T determine the emtinal (情绪的) expressin f the salespersn, we used tw deep learning mdels: a face mdel and an emtin mdel. The face mdel discvers the presence r absence f a face in a frame f a vide stream. The emtin mdel then determines the prbability that a face is exhibiting any f the six basic human emtins: happiness, sadness, surprise, anger, fear r disgust. Fr example, smiling signals a high prbability f happiness, while an ff-putting expressin usually pints tward anger.
    We wanted t see the effect f emtins expressed at different times in the sales cases s we cunted prbabilities fr each emtin fr all 62 millin frames in ur database. We then cmbined these prbabilities with ther pssible aspects that might drive sales — such as price and prduct characteristics — t judge the effect f emtin.
    We fund that, perhaps unsurprisingly, when salespeple shw mre negative emtins — such as anger and disgust — the vlume f sales went dwn. But we als fund that a similar thing happened when the salespeple shw high levels f psitive emtins, such as happiness r surprise.
    A likely explanatin, based n ur research, is that smiling can be disgusting because it lacks true feelings and can reduce trust in the seller. A seller’s happiness may be taken as a sign that the seller is gaining interests at the custmer’s expense.
    28. What can we knw abut the livestreaming t sell gds nline?
    A. It challenges the physical ecnmy.B. It helps big cmpany sell all gds.
    C. It is very cnvenient fr the buyers.D. It helps the sellers develp fixed expressins.
    29. What des the underlined wrd “ff-putting” mean in paragraph 3?
    A. Unhappy.B. Awkward.C. Surprised.D. Frightened.
    30. Hw d custmers feel abut the seller’s smiling?
    A. They feel thankful.B. They feel delighted.C. They feel cheated.D. They feel s tired.
    31. Which f the fllwing culd be the best title fr the text?
    A. Livestreamers Sell Prducts SuccessfullyB. Smiling Can Increase the Sales in Reality
    C. Emtins and Faces: What’s the DifferenceD. Expressins Affect Selling Prducts Online
    【答案】28. C 29. A 30. C 31. D

故选A项。
    【30题详解】

    The mst ppular f these persnality tests is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicatr (MBTI). It is based n the thery that we are brn with a tendency t ne persnality type which stays mre r less fixed thrughut life. As they say in ne test when they ask fr yur age: pick the ne yu are, nt the ne yu wish yu were.
    32. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicatr is based n the belief that ______.
    A. certain persnality traits are cmmn
    B. persnality is largely decided frm birth
    C. sme persnality types are better than thers
    D. persnality traits are varius frm time t time

    A. Emplyers ften find the results unclear.
    B. They may have a negative effect n takers.
    C. Peple can easily lie abut their true abilities.
    D. The results culd be ppsite t what emplyers want.

    【32题详解】

    【点睛】做好细节理解题的几点建议:
    细节理解题属直接解答性问题,是阅读理解题中最简单的一种,多数属中低难度的题。但高考所占的比例大,应特别引起注意。事实和细节题的命题特点是:对文章或某一段落中的一些特定细节或文章重要事实的理解,一般包括直接理解题和语义转化题。直接理解题能在原文直接找到答案,而语义转化题则需要将题目信息与原文信息加工或整理后才能得出结论。
    做细节理解题具体方法与步骤如下:
    ①略读材料,大概了解原文,掌握中心或主旨;
    ②按文章的体裁,作者写作的组织模式及有关的信息词。如fr example, first, secnd…等预测应该到何处寻找自己所需要的事实;
    ③将自己精力放在寻找你所需要的细节上。快速通篇跳读,全文扫视,找到细节出处,待找到含细节句子时,放慢速度,仔细核对比较内容,直至找到答案。如第32小题根据第二段中的It is based n the thery that we are brn with a tendency t ne persnality type which stays mre r less fixed thrughut life.可知我们天生就有固定的性格,人格很大程度上从出生就确定下来了,故选B. 35小题根据最后一段But if persnality tests have any value t us, perhaps it is t free us frm the idea that all f us are full f ptential, and remind us f what we are.可知人格测试的价值在于它提醒我们做我们自己,而不是希望成为的人,故选B.
