Part One
Mdal verbs情态动词
情态动词有一定的意义,表示或暗示某种情绪或态度,表示可能、建议、愿望、必要、允许、能力等。 大多数情态动词有多个意义。
2. 情态动词没有人称和数的变化,即不随主语的不同而变化。
3. 情态动词不能独立使用,须后接动词原形,一起构成谓语动词。
4. 情态动词除ught和have外,后面接不带t的不定式。(dare)
5.情态动词没有非谓语形式,即没有不定式、分词等形式。
can & culd
(1) 表能力,“能,会”
She can speak English.
She culd play the pian at the age f three.
be able t能用于各种时态;can/culd只能表示现在或过去的能力。was/were able t“设法做成某事”相当于managed t d sth// succeeded in ding sth

(2) 表请求和许可,“可以”,culd比can更加委婉,表示礼貌

(3) can表客观可能性,“有时候会”,用于肯定句

(4) can表推测,用于疑问句、否定句。肯定句用must

①表示请求或许可。在疑问句中,might可以代替may,不是过去式,表示语气更委婉。
例: —Might/May I smke in this rm?
—N,yu mustn't/can't.

②固定搭配
may/might well 很可能;
may/might as well 最好;不妨
might have dne 本可能….(结果没发生)
might nt have dne 本不可能…(结果发生了)

shall & shuld & ught t
shall用于第一、三人称疑问句中,表示说话人征求对方的意见和向对方请示,“…好吗?要不要…?”

shall用于第二、三人称陈述句中,表示说话人给对方的许诺、命令、警告、威胁。

1. 表示义务或责任, 译为为“应该”。

2. 表示建议或劝告,译为为“可以,应该”。

3. 表示推断, 译为”应该”, “可能”, “按道理会”。

4. shuld表示意外或惊讶,译为“竟然”。

①must 表示“必须;一定”,强调说话人的主观看法,认为有义务做某事;
have t 表示“不得不”,强调客观需要,含有不情愿或被迫之意。
例: All passengers must wear safety belts.

②mustn't意为“不许”,表示禁止;
dn't have t=needn't意为“不必”,表示没有必要。
注意: must用于一般疑问句时,其否定回答应用needn't或dn't have t
例: —Must we hand in ur hmewrk tday?

③must表示说话人的态度,意为“偏偏;非得”。
例: Must yu make such a big nise?

表示意愿、意志

在疑问句中,用于第二人称,表示请求或征求意见,wuld比will语气更委婉

The Past Future Tense过去将来时
过去将来时表示从过去某一时间来看,将要发生的动作或存在的状态。过去将来时常用在主句谓语动词为过去时态的宾语从句中。过去将来时句子中有时包含时间状语 the next day、sn等。

(wuld/shuld+动词原形)

( g, cme, leave, start, meet等动词的过去进行时,表示就过去的某一时刻而言即将发生的动作。)

(was/were t d; 表示曾经计划做某事,并且从现在看已经实现。)

(当表示“原计划做某事但是最终未发生”,用was/were t have dne.)

教学评价与反思
这节语法课的目的是帮助学生掌握省略的用法。
此外,在课堂上,摆脱了传统语法教学中教师要扮演语法讲解者的角色,积极地引导、启发,给学生提供了大量的机会和语境感知语言,发现规律,鼓励学生在不同层面上语用语言, 使学生对语法意义,功能和运用有了较深刻的理解,很好地实现了教学目标。但由于课堂时间的限制,以及多媒体设备的障碍,部分环节未能精彩呈现,在今后的教学中我会继续探究改进的方法。
