Teaching prcess:
Step1 Lead-in
Use a cheerful ppt fr self-intrducing and brisking up the class. Meanwhile, it is easy fr students t accept the tpic f BLOG.
Step2 Reading
Listen t the tape and find ut the prblems and advice. Fr students, thse are the basic infrmatin they need t get ready fr their writing.
Then while checking answers, let students talk abut their prblems in learning English and help them speak up abut their prblems in a suitable way.
As fr the part f advising Li Rui, it is necessary t have a review f what they have learned befre—hw t use the prper way t advise thers, especially in language expressin.
Step3 Writing
Befre writing, help students clear their minds f hw t rganize their blg and read the cntext again t pint ut hw t write a blg in a cnservatinal way, which is very imprtant fr students t get aware f the difference between writing a blg and writing a letter.
After writing, encurage students t assess their wrks fr each ther accrding t the given checklist. Still, they are encuraged t share their wrks with the whle class.
Step4 Hmewrk
Finally, cmpare writing a blg with writing a letter. Have a summary f them.
Use a lucky spin t chse their hmewrk: write a letter f advice t ne f the psts I have chsen in the class.
