Predicative
动词-ing形式作表语，常位于系动词后，用以说明主语“是什么”或“怎么样”(性质或特征)。

Attribute befre the nun
动词-ing形式作定语，常用来修饰、限定、说明名词或代词的品质与特征，用于名词前的成为前置定语；用于名词后的为后置定语。
3 Families celebrating the Lunar New Year can enjy exciting dragn dances and carnivals tgether.
Attribute after the nun
单个现在分词作定语时，多放在所修饰名词前；短语，常放名词后。

Part 1 –ing frm as the predicative
Her jb is teaching.He appears frbidding(令人生畏的) .She seems unthinking(漫不经心的).
