It keeps them high in the sky.这个句子常用来描述使某人/某物保持某一种状态,这是一个一般现在时的陈述句,主语是第三人称单数it,所以谓语动词keep要用其第三人称单数形式keeps。keep是“维持,保持”的意思。e.g. He wuld keep in tuch with us wherever he was.
用作动词, 意思是“保存;保留;保持;保守”。e.g. Hw lng can I keep this bk?用作动词, 意思是“遵守;维护”。e.g. We must keep the schl rules.用作动词, 意思是“记(日记、帐等)”。e.g. She keeps a diary every day.
拓展:keep的其他用法
用作连系动词,构成系表结构:keep+表语,意为“保持,继续(处于某种状态)”,其中表语可以是形容词、副词、介词短语等。e.g. Please keep quiet in the library.
1. n在本句中用作形容词,可直接放在名词的前面。2. n还可以作副词,是yes的反义词,用在回答问题的场合,表示“不”的意思。e.g. There is n park in the small city.

拓展:nt 的意思是“不是”,是副词,可以用于修饰动词、形容词。如果名词的前面有a, any, much, many, enugh等词,就要用nt,不用n。 have n water.= We dn’t have any water.
