What is the Definite Article ‘The’?
The Definite Article ‘the’ generally specifies and identifies. It answers the questin: ‘Which ne?’ Is specifies a persn, place, r thing already mentined.
The definite article ‘the’ means this, that. It answers the questin which ne?. It can be used with bth singular and plural nuns. A nun is first intrduced with the indefinite article and the definite article is used t refer t it again.
