W: What is life like fr tday’s students? Hw d they treat mney? As the university and cllege terms began, I interviewed a few students. Sarah is a secnd-year bilgy student. She says that mney is a big prblem. She can eat cheaply at university, but she spends quite a lt n transprt. She als spends quite a lt n stylish clthes. Clin, wh is studying engineering, says that he desn’t spend anything n clthes unless cunting climbing shes and special tls, sme f which are very expensive. Nt much f his mney ges n transprt because he likes t ride his bike arund. Diana is a first-year designing student. She makes all her wn clthes. This shuld save her mney. But in fact, the materials are very expensive. She des nt knw hw she wuld manage if she did nt sell sme f the dresses and hats she made t ther students. She says that everything is expensive. That includes rent, fd, transprt and heating fr the flat in winter. Jack is a science student. He desn’t spend much mney n clthes but his rent is high and he spends quite a lt n bks, s he is ding part-time jbs t affrd all f these.
