They are especially imprtant if yu belng t an under-represented grup fr whm a lack f representatin in the wrkplace can lead t feeling islated and lacking in cnfidence. They can help thse just starting ut, whether r nt they are a graduate as I was, t believe in their wn abilities.
There’s a grwing need t have accessible rle mdels. Given the tendency t exaggerate (夸大) success stries, hearing frm wmen wh talk hnestly abut the challenges they have faced, either when starting a business r frming a new career path, is much mre effective. A study revealed that 70 per cent f girls say they think differently abut their futures after hearing frm wmen rle mdels.

AI has advanced significantly ver the years. Hwever, its current mdels largely disregard human psychlgy, such as emtinal intelligence.
“The main fcus f ur wrk was hw we culd bring the emtinal part f intelligence t AI,” says Saptarshi Das, assciate prfessr at Penn State. “Human behavir is easy t bserve but difficult t measure and that makes it difficult t replicate (复制) in a rbt and make it emtinally intelligent. T grasp the intricacies (错综复杂的细节) f taste, Penn State researchers lked t the human tngue, which translates chemical data int electrical signals sent t the brain’s gustatry crtex (味觉皮层). In this brain regin, cmplex neurnal netwrks shape ur sense f taste. T imitate this, the team created an electrnic “tngue”.
This technlgy can be adapted t recgnize all primary taste characteristics, frm sweet and salty t umami (鲜味). Lking ahead, the researchers see numerus applicatins, including AI-designed diets based n emtinal preferences r tailred restaurant meal suggestins.
