“We fund that eating fur hurs later makes a significant difference fr ur hunger levels, the way we burn calries after we eat, and the way we stre fat,” Vujvić said, a researcher at Bstn’s Brigham and Wmen’s Hspital. “Tgether, these changes may explain why late eating is assciated with increased besity risk reprted by ther studies and prvide new bilgical insight int the underlying mechanisms.” The study prvides supprt fr the cncept that circadian(生理节奏) rhythm, which influences key physilgic functins such as bdy temperature and heart rate, affects hw ur bdies absrb fuel, researchers said.

The researchers devted t artificial phtsynthesis used a tw-step electrcatalytic (电催化) prcess t cnvent CO2, water, and electricity int acetate (醋酸盐) — the main ingredient f vinegar — that the plant rganisms cnsumed t grw. The researchers adjusted the electrlyzer, a device that uses electricity t supprt the grwth f fd prducing rganisms. t cme up with the highest levels f acetate ever prduced by this methd.
The new artificial phtsynthesis methd culd be up t 18 times mre efficient than sunlight. Experiments shwed that a large range f fd prducing rganisms culd be grwn using this acetate. “We were able t grw fd prducing rganisms withut any cntributins frm bilgical phtsynthesis,” said Elizabeth Hann, a dctral candidate in the Jinkersn lab and c-lead authr f the study. “This technlgy is a mre efficient methd f turning slar energy int fd, as cmpared t fd prductin that relics n bilgical phtsynthesis,” she said.
By eliminating the need fr sunlight, he ptential f this methd t increase fd supply in regins with less - than ideal grwing cnditins is almst endless, accrding t New Atlas.

When I said it nly tk a half-hur f steady walking t get t the tp. She grumbled, "Fine, I'll g." I knew she was agreeing just t shut me up, but I wuld take anything I culd get.
The next mrning was a perfect day fr a hike, with sunshine and clear skies. I gt up early and tk sme sandwiches and water bttles, which I tucked int my backpack alng with the bug spray and the camera.
Jannie came shuffling dwnstairs, sighed dramatically, rlled her eyes and annunced in a very unenthusiastic, rbt-like vice. "I'm ready t g hiking, Uncle David."
