That was in 2018. The students wrte t the state gvernment. After three years f effrt, Ruby Bridges Walk t Schl Day was established in Califrnia. Bridges hpes that it will becme natinwide. “If it des,” she added, “I want it t really mean smething.”
Bridges imagines a day f dialgue, where students can sit dwn and really talk abut hw they can make a difference in the wrld. Just ne small act, like cleaning up a park r helping feed peple, she added, wuld be meaningful.
