    The teaching material is taken frm the first bk f Grade 8, PEP, G fr it! Unit 6 I’m ging t study cmputer science, Sectin B (2a--2b). The tpic f this Unit is abut life gals, the functins are talking abut future intentins, and the structures are abut future by using “ be ging t” and “ want t be”.
    Analysis f the reading material
    The theme f this perid is abut human and neself. It is a reading text which deals with reslutins. After learning this lessn, students will understand the meaning, kinds, and features f reslutins. What’s mre, they will learn hw t make reasnable reslutins and keep them t becme a better persn.
    Ⅲ. Analysis f Students
    Students in Grade 8 have learned English fr several years and mst f them have mastered the basic ways f leaning English. Befre learning this perid, students have learned sme wrds f jbs, can talk abut dream jbs, future plans, and New Year’s reslutins by using “be ging t” and “ want t be”, s the tpic f this reading passage is familiar t students. Hwever, they may have difficulty in better understanding a passage. Their reading skills and lgical thinking capacity need t be imprved as well. Therefre, sme useful tips f reading will be given t students t help them understand the passage better. Sme pictures and vides will be als used t aruse students’ interest in learning.
