    教学目标

    通过本课学习后,学生能够:

    1. 掌握学科的表达词汇以及询问和讨论学科的4wh-特殊疑问句句型以及其对应的回答方式

    2. 能够在具体的语境中灵活运用所学的表达学科的名词和形容词以及特殊疑问句句型

    3. 能够提升学生对学科学习的兴趣,培养学生热爱学习的意识

    教学内容

    教学重点:

    1.理解并识记关于学科的名词和描述学科的形容词以及询问和讨论学科的特殊疑问句。

    2.运用本节课所学的特殊疑问句和回答方式来讨论最喜爱的学科。
    教学难点:
    运用本课所学的特殊疑问的句型和回答方式讨论喜爱的学科。

    重难点突破:

    教师设置真实情景,利用what, why, when, who四个Wh-questions , 层层递进,巩固学习。

    教学过程

    Step 1: Leading in: Lead in this lesson by a story between a boy and Messi.

     

     

     

    T : Please look at the pictures! Do you know the man? Who is he? What is he? Yes, he is Messi. He is a great football player. But do you know a story between Yecheng County football boy and superstar Messi? Now, let’s see the story.

    The football boy from Yecheng County wanted to buy a good football with his pocket money and Messi heard about that. So he met Messi in 2017 and Messi helped him to realize his dream. The boy now is a middle school student. He still loves football very much.

    So, what’s his favorite subject? Can you guess the answer to the question? Yeah, his favorite subject is P.E..

    Step 2: Guiding and explaining: Guide students to learn how to ask about favorite subject and learn “4W”questions.

    TLet’s see how to ask about the boy’s favorite subject. We can use special questions or Wh-questions to ask about others’ favorite subject.

    What is his favorite subject?

    Why does he like the subject?

    When is his favorite subject class?

    Who is his favorite subject teacher?

    We can conclude them into “4W” questions.

    Step 3: Guiding and explaining: Guide students to learn how to talk about favorite subject and learn to express subject English names.

    T: Then let’s see how to talk about favorite subject. First, we should know some subjects. Chinese, math, English, geography, history, P.E., art, science and music. These are all subjects we are learning in our school.

    设计意图:通过图文结合形式直观展示学科的英文名称表达,学生更容易识记

     Step 4: Guiding and explaining: Guide students to learn how to talk about favorite subject and learn to express how subjects make us feel.

    T: Second, we should know some adjectives to describe these subjects.

    Interesting, boring, relaxing, useful, fun, free, easy, difficult and cool. These adjectives can be used to describe how a subject make us feel.

    设计意图:通过分步骤拆解讨论最喜爱的学科的方式,总结本单元所学的同时,学生更容易识记和理解。

    Step 5: Guiding and explaining: Guide students to learn how to talk about favorite subject and learn how to answer these questions.

    T: Third, we should know how to answer the “4W” questions.

    What is/ What’s his favorite subject? We answer it like this: His favorite subject is P. E..

    Why does he like P. E.? We can answer like this: Because he thinks P. E. is very interesting and he wants to be a great football player like Messi. We should use ”because” to answer a “why” question.

    When is his P. E. class? We can answer like this: It’s on Monday and Wednesday.

    Who is his P. E. teacher? We can answer like this: His P. E. teacher is Mr. Abdu.

    设计意图:将前面的词汇组成句型讨论“最喜爱的学科”,引导学生合理回答前面的“4W”的特殊疑问句。

    Step 6: Guiding and connecting: Guide students to connect the sentences into an article to introduce one’s favorite subject.

    T: Then we should connect the information into an article and check it.

    The boy is my good friend. He is from Yecheng County, Xinjiang. His favorite subject is P. E.. Because he thinks P. E. is very interesting and he wants to be a great football player like Messi. His P. E. class is on Monday and Wednesday. His P.E. teacher is Mr. Abdu. What about your favorite subject?

    计意图:将前面的词汇和句型的学习连接起来组成一篇介绍“最喜爱的学科”的文章,学以致用

    Step 7: Guiding and practicing: Guide students to practice what they’ve learned in this lesson.

    1)I like art because it’s            .

    A. difficult   B. not good   C. boring   D. relaxing

    2) ---          your favorite subject? ---My favorite subject is music.

    A. What   B. Who   C. Why   D. Whats

    3) ---          do you have history? ---On Wednesday.

    A. What   B. When   C. Where   D. Why

    T: Now, let’s practice what we’ve learned today. Question 1: I like art because it’s……Here “like” is the key word. We can see the answer is “D” from the word “like”.

    Question 2: From the context “My favorite subject is music.” We can see it is about what your favorite subject is. So the answer is D.

    Question 3: From the context “ On Wednesday”, we can see that it is about the time. So the answer is B. Are you all right?

    Step 7: Showing the homework: Guide students to finish the homework after class.

    T: Let’s see the homework of this lesson. What’s your favorite subject? Can you tell us more information about your favorite subject?

    计意图:引导学生课后完成作业练习巩固课堂所学

    Step 8: Ending the lesson: Guide students to love subjects in school life.

    We should always remember that only passions, great passions, can lead to achievements.只有热情,伟大的热情才能有所成就。I really hope that all of you can love the subjects and study them with great passions.
