一样高吗?狐狸爸爸告诉他,天空就像爱一样,是永远没有尽头的。
1. Little Fox stares (凝视) up at the leafy (枝叶茂盛的) branches (树枝). “Trees full of leaves,” he sings, “right up high to the top (顶端) of the sky.” “Not quite to the top,” says Daddy Fox.
“The sky doesn’t stop there. What goes higher than the trees, but only after rain?”
2. “The rainbow (彩虹)!” laughs Little Fox. “Is that the top?” he asks. “Does the sky stop there?” Daddy Fox shakes his head (摇头). “Something goes over the rainbow,” he says. “What does?” asks Little Fox. “Tell me, Daddy!”
3. “Clouds!” says Daddy Fox. Little Fox watches the clouds drifting by (飘过). “Look, they are showing us the way home,” says Daddy Fox.
4. The sun was setting (太阳落山) by the time they reached home. The moon began to shine (发光).
5. Little Fox looks around the sky. “Stars!” he laughs. “The stars shine higher. So that’s the top, the sky stops there!” “Not even there,” says Daddy Fox. “You see, there is no top…” “So the sky goes on and on forever,” Little Fox whispers (悄悄说). Daddy Fox hugs (拥抱) him closer. “That’s right,” he says. “The sky is like love.
