    [教材简析]

      本节课所在的单元是牛津英语9A第二模块(Entertainment娱乐活动)的第单元,围绕 “侦探故事” 这个题材开展多种教学活动,与前三单元有一定的联系,是从青少年成长的另一个方面来拓展话题的。包括AThe kidnappingBWe should remember to lock the door,这是一节综合技能课,侧重于对学生听说能力的培养。旨在以听力活动为主线展开教学,拓展有关Detective stories的话题,提升学生语言运用的综合能力。这个模块教学的重点是帮助学生听懂并提取案件的相关信息,培养学生条理清楚地表达自己对不同嫌疑犯的看法的能力则是教学的难点。

    [目标预设]

    1.知识与技能

        掌握四会词、词组和句型;能听懂有关案件的录音,提取相关信息,完成关于绑架案的报告;能用英语谈论安全防范措施

    2.过程与方法

    观看电影片段,介绍顶级侦探Bryan,把本课的绑架案演绎成由Bryan经手查办的一个案件。借助Bryan创设完整的情境;在情境中设计层层递进的任务激发他们思考,提升他们的能力。

    3.情感态度和价值观

    引导学生增强自我保护意识,提高自我保护能力。

     [重点、难点]

    1. 能听懂有关案件的录音,提取相关信息,完成关于绑架案的报告

    2. 能用英语谈论安全防范措施

    [设计理念]

    课题教学活动循序渐进,由易到难以学生的生活经验和兴趣为出发点将听写有机结合积极开展pair work, group work等以教师为主导,学生为主体的师生、生生多边的交互式活动,注重创设语境氛围,采用启发式、讨论式、探究式等教学方引导学生全面、积极的参与学习的过程,由浅入深地完成教学任务,让学生享受英语学习的快乐。

     [设计思路]

    首先,通过多媒体教学视频,让学生从视觉、听觉、感知三方面不知不觉的深入课堂教学内容,引出本课的主题——Kidnapping

    其次,通过听前Pre-listening感知,引导学生走进情境,激活相关的语言文化背景知识;通过听中While-listening理解,引导学生捕捉主题句、关键词,概括案件内容;通过听后After-listening迁移,引导学生完成绑架案报告,并展开讨论Who is the kidnapper,激活学生的思维,激发学生学习兴趣,实现自然过渡。

    再次,通过一个个台阶的铺设,让学生带着问题互相讨论,积极寻找答案,进一步复现已呈现出的语言点,完成Speak up的学习。

    最后,根据不同案件做口头报告引导学生增强自我保护意识、提高自我保护能力,达到情感的升华。

    [教学过程]:Teaching Procedures

    Step 1 Warming up: Free talk

    T: What is a detective?

    S: ...

    T: Do you like detective stories?

    S: …

    T: What detectives do you know?

    S: …

    T: Today, I’m going to show you a top detective. He is Bryan. He is good at solving all kinds of crimes. This is daughter Kim. She is 17 years old. Do you want to know what happened? Let’s watch a video.

    What happened in the film?

    S: Kidnapping .

    (设计意图:用Free talk开始本节课预设上课的情境引出本节课的话题---绑架。通过视频,让学生从视觉、听觉、感知三方面自然的接受新知识,进入准备侦破绑架案的状态

    Step 2 Presentation

    T: This is the story. During summer holiday, Kim went to Paris with her friend. Both of them were kidnapped. Bryan made all efforts to save his daughter. In the film, Bryan always stays calm no matter what happens. When he said: “I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you.”And he did it. He found the kidnapper and saved his daughter.

    In the morning, Bryan read newspaper. Something caught his attention. A 4-year-old boy was kidnapped.

    Then there is a phone call coming.(Hello, Bryan, this is Sam. The son of Guan Dawei, a man of great wealth was kidnapped. Go and get it done!)

    So, Bryan is coming to save Guan Dawei’s son. Before solving the case, he wants to know more information about his son. Could you help him?

    New words: Kidnap—kidnapping(n.绑架;劫持);

     wealth—wealthy(adj.富有的);

        (设计意图:过对案情的介绍,营造轻松氛围,扫除知识点障碍。

    Step 3 Pre-listening

    1. Finish a report on the victim

    Sometime between (1)_______ and (2) ________, Guan Dawei’s(3) ______, Guan Fei, was kidnapped. The victim  is (4)_______old and about (5) ______tall. He was wearing a  (6) ______ T-shirt, blue (7)________ and a brown (8)________.

    2. Prediction

    T: Soon, Bryan found two suspects: Wang Gang and Fan Yiming. Wang Wang was in prison for six month. Fan Yiming has no criminal records.

    (设计意图:听前预测拓展学生思维,为后面的提问竞赛做铺垫。)

    3. Boys VS Girls

    T: As a top detective, you must remember: sometimes, seeing is not believing. You have to do more research to prove. You have to ask questions.

     If you were Bryan, what questions will you ask two suspects?

    (设计意图:将While-listening中提审嫌疑人的问题提前呈现,为听做最后准备Group work有利于培养学生自主合作、探究学习的能力。

    Step 8 Conclusion

        T: Today, you did a very good job. You gave me a lot of safety tips. I hope you can remember them and I’m sure you will. Because the safety tips are just like locks. They can help us shut the door of crimes or guard against the crimes so that we can live in a safer and better world.

         For what you have done, Bryan also wants to say something to you:

         Well done! To be a top detective, you have a long way to go. It just begins…

         (Another phone call is coming: Bryan, this is Sam again. A body is found in the hotel downtown. Go and get it done!)
