Analysis on the Teaching Material:
The content of the lesson is Task. I’ll enable students to write a passage about their lifestyle. The topic, Healthy lifestyle, is related to students’ daily life which can attract students’ curiosity and interest. What’s more, we can help students to improve their lifestyles.
Analysis on learners:
After learning English for several years, the students have certain basic English knowledge and vocabulary. And they are eager to learn something related to their daily life. So I must try my best to design some interesting activities to activate them to participate and learn something actively and help them keep up their passion, develop the feeling of success and help them to have better lifestyles.
IVTeaching aims and learning objectives:
By the end of the class, the students should be able to:
1. memorize the new words and phrases.
2. write an article about healthy lifestyle.
3. know how to have healthy lifestyles.

Step 1: Lead in (about 4 mins)
Show pictures of fat Superman and Captain American.
Why do they become so fat? What about their lifestyle?

Step 2:Presentation (about 6 mins)
1. Show students a picture of my doing exercise in a gym.
Free talk: What sport do you like doing? How often do you do it?
2. Talk about my three meals by showing students pictures and new words.

Step 3:Writing structure: Simon’s lifestyle (about 6 mins)
Read Simon’s article to talk about the structure of the passage.
Activity 1:
1. Work in groups to talk about the main idea of each paragraph.
2. Discuss(讨论) what else Simon can write at the end of the article to make it better.
Step 4: Writing tips(about 3 mins)
1. Pay attention to the right form of countable nouns and uncountable nouns.
2. Try to use different adverbs.
3. Add(增加) the correct conjunctions.
4. Try to use different sentence patterns to express reasons.

X Teaching reflection
这堂课的主题是健康的生活方式,中心任务是写作,如何引导学生最终产出自己的文章是难点,因此本课我的重点是一步步引导学生了解写作的方法,积累写作的素材,最终实现本课的目标。
一、设置情境,激发学生兴趣
由于健康的生活方式是学生所熟知的话题,因此我用Superman和Captain America正常的图片和变胖后的图片作为导入,激起学生的兴趣,简单地讨论超人和美队变胖的原因,接着利用多媒体技术设置了对学生生活方式的调查。接下来通过朋友圈这一生活中常见事例来贯穿整个Task,情境新颖且激发学生的学习兴趣。
二、活动多样,提高学生能力
在设置任务时,我遵循了从易到难的原则,设置了pair work以及小组讨论,注重培养学生的写作能力。先是由我本人介绍自己的三餐及原因,让学生们进行pair work 来谈论自己的三餐,接着阅读文章,小组讨论每段的大意以及在文章的最后作者可以写哪些内容,去发散学生的思维,了解作文的结构和可用的短语和句型,最终落实到笔头写作,都是一步一个台阶,使学生自然而然就产出了自己的作品。一堂课下来,学生在听说读写各方面都得到了锻炼,能力得到了提升。
三、培养纠错,讲究实效
本课教学中,我先通过活动给孩子们作文的素材进行铺垫,然后让学生讨论了作文的结构,接着对写作过程中的时态、句子结构、拼写等都提出了要求。同时,培养学生的纠错意识也是非常重要的,我用一个中等生的作文投影,进行全班批改,然后同伴交换互批,小组讨论选出最佳的文章进行展示,这样做可以使学生意识到自己的不足,汲取别人作文中的好句子。
四、不足的地方
虽然,这节课基本完成了预设的目标,但是仍有一些不足之处,如课堂用语不够简练明了,在写作建议那个环节还未充分调动学生的学习主动性。通过这次展示活动,我发现了自身的很多不足,但同时对如何提高课堂效率有了进一步的理解,对我自身能力的提高有着积极的意义,也比将对我今后的教学工作有着巨大的促进作用。
