    Learning procedure

    IPre-task preparations

    1Say a rhyme

    I see green.

    I see yellow.

    I see blue.

    I see purple.

    I see the beautiful rainbow, shining over there, outside the window.

    2Free talk:

    1) Put one thing on the desk.

    2) Put a pencil in my bag.

    3) Put your hand in the bag. Touch one thing. How does it feel? What is it?

    II. While-task preparations

    AThe text I

    The sun is shining. Alice and Danny are in the park. What do they see in the park? Lets have a look.

    Alice: Wow! What a nice park! I can see a hill. Its small. I can fly a kite on the hill. I can see a lawn beside the hill. Its green. I can have a picnic on the lawn. I can see a bench. Its beside the path. I can sit on it. How beautiful!

    1.    Show the picture of the park and ask the students some questions

    e.g. Whats in the picture?

    What can we see in the park?

    2Try to learn the word: awn, hill, bench, path

    3Look at the picture of the park and say about it

    e.g. Wheres the bench?

    How is the bench?

    4Guessing game:

    e.g. It’s hard and smooth. You can see it in a park. You can see it in a park. You can sit on it. What is it?

    Danny: Look, whats this? Its black. Its so big. Is it a tree?

    Alice: No! Its the trees shadow.

    1Elicit the word: shadow

    2Read the word and say about it

    e.g. What colour is the shadow?

    Where can you see it?

    Look at the sun. In the morning, it rises behind the hill. The trees shadow is long. At noon, the sun is high in the sky. The trees shadow grows short. It is on the bench. The sun goes down in the evening. The trees shadow grows long again.

    3.    Answer the questions:
