课时分析
这堂课是人教版六年级上册第四单元的第二课时,与前一课时密切相关,继续探讨“兴趣爱好”这一主题。主要通过对话情景学习单词和词组,如 "pen pal," "Jasmine Flower," "idea",同时继续巩固表达兴趣爱好的句型。课程旨在培养学生通过了解兴趣爱好来结交朋友的意识,持续激发他们对学习英语的兴趣。第一课时中已经学习了句型 "What are your hobbies? I like...",为本课时的学习奠定了基础。重点将放在掌握句型 "What are...’s hobbies? He/She likes..." 上。
本课时分为 "Let’s try" 和 "Let’s talk" 两个板块。在 "Let’s try" 部分,通过呈现张鹏和Oliver的对话场景进行听力训练。通过这个听力练习,学生将获得 "Let’s talk" 部分中涉及的人物和场景信息,为进入正式的对话学习做好准备。而 "Let’s talk" 部分通过呈现张鹏和Oliver打电话的情景,让学生了解核心句型 "What are Peter’s hobbies? He likes..." 的语义和语用情境。这堂课将继续讨论关于他人兴趣爱好的话题,这个话题非常真实,与学生的生活密切相关,能够激发他们的求知欲望,同时也激发他们用英语进行表达的愿望。
值得一提的是,课程中出现了词组 "Jasmine Flower",这是一首著名的中国民歌。在教学中,可以播放这首歌曲,让学生欣赏并感受其中的文化元素。
鉴于本课时涉及的句型较多,我计划采用游戏等互动活动来引导学生复习之前学过的内容,通过新旧知识的联系引入新的知识。同时,通过教材设置的情景,结合角色扮演、对话仿编、小调查等活动,来巩固新知识,帮助学生更好地理解和运用。

Step 1: Warm-up
- Greeting:

- Guess and Act:
- Display cards with actions: sing, dance, read stories, play football, do kung fu.
- One student picks a card and acts out the action while others guess the word or phrase.
- Present Participles:
- Show cards with verbs: sing, dance, read, play, do.
- Students say the present participle form and spell it out, e.g., sing, singing, S-I-N-G-I-N-G.

Step 2: Lead-in
- T: In our daily life, we make friends in various ways, even online. We call them pen pals. (Display "pen pal" and introduce the concept.)

- T: Imagine Zhang Peng talking about his pen pal, Peter. What are Peter's hobbies?
- (Play audio and guide students to answer.)

- Introduce Peter:
- T: Do you want to know more about Peter? Look at the picture. What is he doing?
- Ss: He’s reading books.
- T: Yes, he likes reading. He has many hobbies. Let's read the text together.
- Comprehension:
- Discuss questions: Where does Peter live? What are Peter’s hobbies?
- Analyze the text to answer questions:
- T: What are Peter’s hobbies? S1: He likes reading stories, doing kung fu, swimming, singing.
- T: Where does he live? Ss: He lives on the farm.
- T: So sometimes he reads to the cows.
- Practice correct verb forms.
- Introduce Zhang Peng's Hobby:
