教师通过问题，引起学生兴趣的同时引入写作话题。
Step 1 Befre writing
（1）学生阅读文本并回答活动1中的问题，教师也可以补充一些问题让学生回答，例如：
What’s Ann’s learning style?
What’s Thand’s persnality and learning style?
What’s yur persnality and learning style?
教学提示：教师可以把重点放在persnality和learning style信息的处理上，因为这是表达的难点和重点。可以利用“What’s yur persnality and learning style?”这一问题对相关的语言进行拓展。
Persnality: ptimistic, easy-ging, warm and friendly, generus, reliable, shy ...
Learning style: I usually read ut alud r talk with my friends t gain a better understanding. I tend t learn better when I tuch r handle things. I learn better when I write dwn what I have learnt. ...
（2）学生再次阅读文本，并按照活动2中的项目梳理文本结构，教师核对答案并在内容和语言方面适当拓展。教师提问：
Besides the infrmatin abve, what else wuld yu like t intrduce in the prfile? Can yu think f mre expressins t intrduce ne’s persnality, favurite subject, learning style, hbbies, future plans and dreams?
教学提示：可以进一步引导学生关注本单元自我介绍的文体风格和语言形式。本单元的自我介绍语言轻松活泼，适合在非正式场合使用。
Step 2 While writing
（1）写作准备。学生按照前面总结的内容结构，模仿文本中的语言，结对作口头自我介绍。
（2）写出初稿。学生按活动3中的提示独立完成写作。
（3）同伴互评。学生按活动3中的评价清单进行互评，并向对方提出修改意见。
（4）完成终稿。学生在同伴评价的基础上当堂修改初稿，课后再补充个人照片或图片，完善个人简介。
教学提示：在课堂的写作活动中，教师可以给学生提供不同颜色的纸，让学生自由设计自我介绍的版面，在文字的基础上配上简易的自画像或装饰图案，以增加活动的趣味性。还可以让学生在课堂完成的写作初稿的基础上制作电子版的个人简介。学生可以通过加入照片、图片、动态图标、音频、视频等，让个人简介更加生动。之后学生可以在班级多媒体平台上展示个人简介。
Step 3 After writing
展示交流。学生可以把简介张贴于教室中，这样能直观地增进同学间的相互了解，教师还可以将纸质版学生简介做成电子版，放在班级群里。

Step 1 学生完成活动1。
（1）学生看图片，为每一幅图片找到与之最为匹配的形容词。
（2）学生结对，每组挑选两幅图片，用两三句话来描述每幅图片。学生描述时要用上与该图片相匹配的形容词。教师可先挑选一幅图片作示范。
（3）教师邀请几个小组向全班口头描述图片内容。
（4）学生可以选择其中一个形容词来描述自己在开学时最深的感触，并在全班进行分享。
Step 2 学生完成活动2，师生核对答案。
教学提示：如果学生基础较好，可以让学生就新学期的学习生活说一段话，在这段话中尽可能多地使用本单元中出现的词语搭配。例如：
I have been at the new schl fr almst a week and I feel great. I like t exchange ideas with my classmates, explre the campus and attend different lectures. Hwever, I need t cncentrate mre n the classes even thugh smetimes they are hard. I hpe I can make a gd impressin n my classmates and teachers.
Step 3 学生完成活动3，师生核对答案。学生可以仿照文本的样式，就未来的学习生活给同学写一条寄语或建议。
