【教学目标】
1.学生阅读故事的结尾,以各种方式呈现故事,如角色扮演、复述故事等。通过复习和讨论,帮助学生理解故事的寓意。
2.通过学习任务,帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识。
【教学重难点】
1.词汇:back, quack, away, swan, into
2.句型:The ugly duckling is in the grass. / He sees two big swans. / The ugly duckling looks into the water.

【教学过程】
I. Pre-task preparations
1.让学生看图7~10,用自己的话讲述丑小鸭的故事。
2.出示天鹅的图片,通过猜谜游戏引出单词swan。
T: They're beautiful. They look like ducks. They have long necks. They can fly very high. They like eating fish. What animals are they?
Ss: They're swans.
T: Are the swans beautiful? Do you like swans?
II. While-task procedures
1.出示故事图11和12的挂图,让学生先看图回答问题。
T: (point to Picture 11) How many swans can you see?
S1: Two.
T: What color are the swans?
S2: They're white.
T: Where are the swans?
S3: They're in the river.
T: (point to Picture 12) How many swans can you see?
S4: Three.
让学生读图11和12的文字,让学生读完后讨论问题,帮助学生理解整个故事的结尾。
T: What do the two swans say to the ugly duckling?
SI: You're a beautiful swan.
T: Is the ugly duckling ugly now?
S2: No, he isn't. He's a beautiful swan.
T: Is the ugly duckling happy or sad?
S3: He's happy.
然后播放录音,让学生跟读。
2.播放录音,把练习纸发给学生,要求学生边听,边填空。
(1)It is spring again. The ugly duckling is in the grass. Two big swans see him.
(2)The ugly duckling looks into the pond.Now he is a swan. He is very happy.
3.让学生看故事的第二部分(图7—10),想象鸭妈妈和三只小鸭会对丑小鸭说些什么。鼓励学生表演对话。通过提问,启发学生思考丑小鸭离开的原因,帮助学生理解故事人物。
(1)Why is the ugly duckling sad?
(2)Why does he swim away?
让学生在复习故事的基础上讨论故事的寓意,以揭示故事的内涵,对学生进行适当的德育渗透。启发学生思考如果他们是鸭妈妈一家,应该怎么对待丑小鸭。
然后播放录音,让学生从图7—12完整地跟 录音朗读一遍,并进行分角色朗读,无论是跟读还是朗读,教师要注意提醒学生有感情地朗读,把人物的不同语气读出来。
4.帮助学生复习本单元的故事内容。整理课文中的图片,把顺序打乱,然后复述故事,让学生按故事的情节将图片重新排序。
(1)It is spring. It is warm. Mother Duck is near the river. She is making a nest.
(2)There are three eggs in the nest. They are small.
(3)Now there are four eggs in the nest. Three eggs are small. One is big.
(4)Mother Duck is sitting on the eggs.
(5)Look! The eggs open. Three yellow ducklings come out of the eggs. Mother Duck is happy.
(6)The big egg opens. A big grey duckling comes out. He is ugly.

III. Post-task activities
1.让学生分组进行角色扮演,朗读故事。然后让学生戴上头饰进行小组表演,对整个故事再次进行复习和巩固。教师可以帮助学生安排角色和整理对白。
2.请学生看《练习册》Task的第一部分,学生先根据《丑小鸭》的角色自由组合,然后填写演员表。接着,学生根据第二部分的提示问题在小组内交流,进一步了解故事人物和故事内容,设计剧本。鼓励学生分析故事人物的特点,增加故事情节和对话设计。

3.最后,请各组学生戴上头饰表演舞台剧。全班一起打分,评选出表演得最好的小组,还可以评选“最佳剧本”、“最佳演员”等奖项。
