Unit 7 My day 【第一课时】【教学目标】1.帮助学生学习Look and learn中的生词。2.帮助学生学习时间表达,用What time is it? It's ... 操练时间表达。3.通过Ask and answer的问答练习,帮助学生用What time do you …? I… at … (time). 描述一天中的不同时间段所做的事情,操练所学的词组。【教学重难点】1.词汇:o'clock, quarter, time, half, wash, dinner2.日常用语:What time is it?【教学准备】课件、音频【教学过程】I. Pre-task preparations1.把一个闹钟放在盒子里,让学生听声音猜谜语,引出单词clock。T: It has two hands. One hand is long and the other hand is short. It works all day and all night. It goes “tick-tock”. And it tells us the time. What is it?接着拿出闹钟,让学生听闹钟的声音,引出tick-tock。2.播放与单元话题相关的歌曲,如:Tick-tock!Tick-tock! Tick-tock!Says my grandmother's clock.Coo-coo! Coo-coo!Says my mother's clock.Ring-ring! Ring-ring!Where's my little clock!3.让学生欣赏歌曲并回答问题。T: Do you have a clock at home?S1: Yes, I do.T: What sound does your clock make?S1: It goes “tick-tock”.II. While-task procedures1.用硬卡纸制作一个钟面,先让学生一起读出钟面上的数字,然后转动指针到不同的位置,说出相应的时间。T: (move the clock hands to show one o'clock) It's one o'clock. (move the short hand to two o'clock) It's two o'clock. (move the clock hands to show half past seven) It's half past seven....2.在黑板上把表示整点(one o'clock到twelve o'clock) 和半点 (half past one 到 half past twelve) 的时间表达分两栏写出来。然后任意说出其中一个时间,请学生上来把指针转到相应的位置。T: Ten o'clock.S1: (move the clock hands to show ten o'clock)T: What time is it?Ss: It's ten o'clock.3.然后转动时针,让它从9转到12或从12转到3,引出a quarter,通过不同的时间引出a quarter to/past...的时间表达。T: (move the long hand of the clock from 12 to 3) It's a quarter. (set the time at 7:15) It's a quarter past seven. (set the time at 7:45) It's a quarter to eight.4.出示几个不同时间的钟面图,用问句What time is it? 进行提问,让学生快速说出时间。T: (show the pictures of clocks showing different times) What time is it?Ss: It's two o'clock/half past seven/a quarter to six/a quarter past one.5.指着不同的钟面图,如Ask and answer栏目的图片,让学生回答问题,引出Look and learn的动词词组。T: (show the picture of a clock showing seven o'clock) What time is it?Ss: It's seven o'clock.T: (show the flashcard for have breakfast) I have breakfast at seven o'clock. How about you? Do you have breakfast at seven o'clock too?S1: Yes, I have breakfast at seven o'clock, too.6.依次引出并教学Look and learn的动词词组,然后让学生跟读。朗读的次数和形式要根据学生的接受能力进行调整,可以全班读,分大组读,分小组读,四人一组读,同桌一起读,单个学生读,读的时候可以加上动作以帮助理解。Ss: get up, brush my teeth, wash my face, have breakfast, have lunch, have dinner7.把挂图贴在黑板上,请个别学生扮演图中的男孩,师生根据图片进行对话。T: What time is it?S1: It's six thirty. I get up at six thirty. How about you?T: I get up at seven o'clock.8.然后让学生开展对子活动,通过I...at... (time). 操练所学词组。S1: What time is it?S2: It's six o'clock. I get up at six o'clock. How about you?S1: I get up at half past six.9.让学生看Ask and answer的图片,回答问题。T: What time is it?S1: It's seven o'clock.T: I get up at seven o'clock. What time do you get up?S1: I get up at a quarter past seven.10.然后让学生进行对子活动。S1: What time is it?S2: It's a quarter past seven. I brush my teeth and wash my face at a quarter past seven. What time do you brush your teeth and wash your face?S1: I brush my teeth and wash my face at a quarter past seven, too.S1: What time is it?S2: It's a quarter to eight. I go to school at a quarter to eight. What time do you go to school?S1: I go to school at half past seven.III. Post-task activities1.把学生分成四至六人一组,让学生在纸上画出表示不同时间的钟面,然后组员轮流指着一个钟面,说出时间和自己的活动。S1: (point at Clock 1) It's seven o'clock. I get up at seven o'clock.S2: (point at Clock 2) It's a quarter past seven. I go to school at a quarter past seven.S3: (point at Clock 3) It's ten past seven. I have my breakfast at ten past seven.S4: (point at Clock 4) It's half past seven. I go to school at half past seven.2.让学生开展对子活动,根据学习的内容再结合自己的真实生活编一个对话。提醒学生要新旧知识相结合。可以给出一些动词词组,如go home, do homework, do housework, watch TV, go to sleep。S1: What time is it?S2: It's five o'clock. I go home at five o'clock. How about you?S1: I go home at a quarter past five.3.最后,让学生把自己的作息时间画出来或制作表格,并作介绍。S1: Hi. I am ... I get up at six o'clock.
