读写部分包括两篇课文。第一篇课文为说明文,介绍中国古代著名的水利工程--都江堰。首先,引导学生带着问题阅读课文,理解语篇基本信息。之后,引导学生通过填写图表,对语篇细节内容进行提取归纳,并深入思考如何通过人类活动改善自然环境,达到人与自然和谐共处的目的。第二篇课文为安全避震指令,旨在培养学生根据上下文或图片猜测生词含义的能力,帮助学生理解安全避震指令,并思考对于不可避免的自然灾害,人类应该如何应对。 | |||||

Step 3 New Lesson | Task 1 : Pre-reading 1.The teacher shows two pictures of the forest and of the Sanxia project. Students guess what they are and what they are for. (The teacher introduces words for students’ reference like prevent, benefit, succeed, geographical, achieve etc.) 2.The teacher poses a question for students to think about the relationship between humans and nature. (Can we do something to prevent or reduce disasters?) Task 2 : While-reading 1.The students listen to the recording, skim the text, and answer the first question in Activity One. 2.While listening to the recording again, students read the text through skimming and scanning, answer the second question in Activity One and summarise the main idea for each paragraph. 3.Based on the structure and main ideas of each paragraph, students summarize the writer’s argument. 4.The students read the text for a third time through scanning, look for details and finish the exercise in Activity Two. 5.The students check the answer with the help of T and underline the key words and expressions. 6.The students translate the long and complicated sentences into Chinese while The teacher emphasises meanings of unfamiliar words in complicated sentences.
