Step1 Warming up

1．Greeting.

2．Free talk. May I speak to…?

How are you?

I’m …

What’s the matter?

I have a cold, a cough, a fever, a headache…复习巩固所学句型。

Step2 Presentation and practice

1．Fun time.（课前让学生用纸杯做好电话。）Work in pairs, Make a dialogue.同桌合作，创编对话，进行打电话游戏。

2．T：Sam and Bobby are on the phone. Please read and answer.

学生带着问题独立阅读故事，找到问题答案。

(1)   What day is it?

3．Watch the cartoon, then answer the questions.观看动画后，同桌合作，核对答案。

（1） Is Sam speaking to Tina?

（2） Is Bobby at home?

（3） Is Bobby at school?

4．Ask and answer.

5．Learn the phrases: at school, don’t have any lessons.

6．再次播放动画，体会Bobby语调的变化，感受故事的幽默之处。

Read after the tape.注意语音语调，尤其是Bobby模仿Tina声音

7．Read the dialogue with your desk mate.

8．Act the dialogue.同桌合作，表演对话，利用做好的纸杯电话做道具。鼓励学生大胆发挥，尤其是Bobby模仿Tina声音的那段台词，不必太拘谨。
