一、教学目标

Step 1 Warming-up

Make a conversation about learning English.

Step 2 Pre-reading

Learn some new words.

【设计意图】学习本课新词汇，为下一个环节的阅读活动扫清障碍。

Step 3 While-reading

1. Read the passage quickly and find out what problems the Ss have.

2. Read paragraph 3 and finish the exercise about advice for Li Hao.

3. Read paragraph 5 and find out true or false.

4. Read paragraph 7 and fill in the blanks

5. Read and complete the table.

ask sb for sth. 意为“请求某人；向某人征求”。

(2) I suggest you write four or five words a day…

suggest作为动词，意为“建议”。

suggest doing sth.意为“建议做某事”。

suggest (that) sb (should) do sth. 意为“建议某人做某事”。

其名词形式为suggestion，意为“建议、提议”，是可数名词。
