一、导入环节(2分钟)
(一)导入新课,板书课题
导入语:Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn:
Lesson 26 What will I be?
(二)出示学习目标 过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.
1.我要掌握单词和短语:page,pilot,fear,height,---;a fear of heights,stop… (from)doing…---
2.通过学习,我能用英语谈论未来的职业以及如何实现梦想。
过渡语:I believe everyone can achieve your goal? Can you ? Let’s begin .
二、先学环节(15分钟)
过渡语:First look at the guides carefully and then finish the tasks step by step.

探究三:Language Points
1.experience v. 经受;经历 n. 经历;体验 (1)experience作及物动词,其后可跟名词、动名词、代词作宾语。(2)experience作“经验”讲时,是不可数名词;作“(一次)经历”讲时,是可数名词。[练一练]:Everyone can get different experience from his own experiences.每个人都能从他自己的经历中获得不同的经验。
2.height n. 高度;身高 例:We don't know the height of that building.我们不知道那座建筑物的高度。height的形容词为high,意为“高的”,可作表语和定语。例:There is a high building over there. Do you know how high it is?在那边有一栋高楼。你知道它有多高吗?
3.辨析high与tall
不同点:(1)指人、动物或树木的高度时,用tall而不用high;(2)当指一个不与地面接触的人或物离地面的高度时要用high,而不用tall;例:The cat is high up in the tree.那只猫高高地趴在树上。(3)tall的反义词是short, high的反义词是low;例:a short man (short不能用low替换) 一个矮个子男人 a low building (low不能用short替换)一座矮楼 (4)high可作副词,而tall则不能作副词。
相同点:指建筑物的高度时用tall和high均可,可说a tall/high building。
(注:但指一个非常庞大的建筑物时要用high,因为high在程度上要大于tall。)
4.辨析high与highly high指具体的高度。例:The boy jumps high. 那个男孩跳得高。
highly指抽象的高度。例:My teacher thinks highly of me. 我的老师对我高度评价。
5.stop sb.(from) doing sth.阻止某人做某事 We must stop the children from playing football in the street.我们必须阻止孩子们在街上踢足球。同义词组为 keep sb. from doing sth.和prevent sb. from doing sth.。注意: keep sb. from doing sth.中的介词from 不能省略,stop sb. from doing sth.和prevent sb. from doing sth.中的from可省略。
6.take steps to do sth. 采取措施做某事 例:The government has already taken steps to stop the air pollution. 政府已经采取措施防止空气污染。
归纳:常考的take 的相关短语 (1)take part in 参加 (2)take place 发生;举行
(3)take the place of = take one's place取代(4)take a message for sb.给某人捎个口信
(5)take away 拿走 (6)take care of 照料 (7)take out 取出 (8)take off 脱掉(衣物等);(飞机)起飞
探究四:Finish “Let’s Do it” part2~4.
四、训练环节(13分钟)Ⅰ.根据句意及首字母或汉语提示完成句子
