T: Let’s sing the song Happy birthday for Sam. OK? Ss: OK! (Play the song Happy birthday! (出示课件) Let students sing the song together.) Presentation.(对话学习) 1. Let’s talk (1)教师展示Let's talk部分图片,提问引导学生预测对话内容。 Let students look at the picture of “Let’s talk” carefully. Ask some questions to help them predict the main idea of the dialogue. T: Look at the pictures. Who is Sam? Let’s point it. Ss: ... T: Yes. This is Sam. (2)教师播放Let's talk部分视频,学生根据视频回答问题。 Play the video of the first part. (课件出示:教材P61 Let’s talk板块的视频) Let students watch and answer. T: Who is Sam? Who have different answers? Let’s look and choose. Ss: Sam is Sarah’s brother. T: Yes,you are right. Teach the pronunciation of “brother” several times. Let students practice “brother” from the low voice to the high voice. (3)教授句型结构并进行操练 “—Happy birthday!”“—Thank you.”。T: Look at Picture 1 carefully. Sarah is introducing Sam to John. What does John give Sam? Ss: A birthday card. Let students listen to the second part and explain the key sentences. Teach students the meaning of the sentence structures “—How old are you? —I’m…years old.” and how to use them in real situations.
